Damn those are some HUGE king size carps. It's finally nice to see how they feed on the bottom of the river. One thing for sure i had better keep an eye on my fishing pole at all time's. You NEVER know when these HUGE carps will grab your bait and possibly pull your pole in if your not close enough.

I cought a 21lb 1oz mirror carp in a lake in cornwall when i was 7 on holiday there, it had like 3 or 4 lb line on and just a normal real. Luckily my dad put the drag setting easy so it never pulled me in and it gave him time to come and get the rod off me, he is an amazing angler and the european police champion, his friend he always used to beat in matches before he gave it up for a few years turned pro. After like 45 mins of backwinding he finally landed it hehe I was amazed1 :) Tight Lines!

These fish look like "wild" river carp, they are taking that bread without a care in the world- not pressured fish. Trust me those fish are solid muscle, they would fight like a demon if you hooked one. If you ever fish for river carp like these, step up your tackle or they will snap you up- guaranteed.

Yeh it happened to me the other week on a fishing trip. Went to my my bros peg to get some sun cream and came back to see my rod swimming down the margin. Managed to get it back out the water, fortunatly the fish managed to unhook itself otherwise it was bye bye tackle.
