It is laid back. Highly recommend this cruise for middle aged people. I cruised from Miami, Grand Bahamas, Freeport, Naussa, and Great Strriup Cay. Not recommended for people who want an adventure.
I'm not an expert, but Ruth didn't seem to enjoy being in the show. You rushed by the area with music and walked around a dead ship. I thought I was watching a bad horror flick. I was waiting for the discovery of a dead body. You said you've been on other cruise. Show some action or tell about SOMETHING. I do believe you know how to operate the camera though. Don't forsake Ruth for something as simple as this. Enjoy the cruise & one another. Tape her having fun or something U C 2gether. Enjoy!
Im going there in three weeks! .......I hope its fun!!!! The pool looks kind of boaring compared to the other cruse i have been on....... I think it will be fun though!.... Im wondering if there will be anything exiting for me (im 11).....just let me know if you remember anything really fun! Thanks!
@oggylu YES, THERE ARE LOTS OF THEM AND QUITE CHEAP. BUY THEM A DRINK AND IN LESS THAN A MINUTE WILL BE TAKING YOU TO THE STATEROOM....SO EASY!! ENJOY
I did not really go to any of the clubs, but from what I have seen they usually do a mix...I would say NCL is more likely have more hip-hop music then other lines.
Only at the place called "dazzles night club" its when you first get on the boat you'll see it. they had hip hop it was the only place other places had like disco or something, but i hope you have fun!!!

The private island was beautiful and we almost didnt get to go because of the rough seas. we waited an hour to get on the tendors because of how bad the seas were..it was well worth it tho.
My wife and I were on the same ship with you guys. Awesome time, perfect weather, and Matt Baker and Rich Purpura were hilarious weren't they? Good times. Thanks for posting the vid.
To be honest, not too many. This was my fourth cruise and on all four cruises I have never seen a large number of black passengers. At the same time, I sense no racial tension on ships :)
I do not drink, but my wife does, and it averages close to ten dollars a drink after tip and the $2.00 souvenir glass they give you. I heard you can ask to not have the souvenir glass and that will save money. It is not "allowed" to take your own, but I have seen people use water bottles filled with Vodka.
