I actually really really liked this interview, and who knows, maybe it was the fact that Stern is a complete dick that made me like it. It's attitudes like that which end up getting people to talk. The ones that are too offended can stay home, because they can't keep up, but Brand obviously could keep up during this interview. I didn't really care for the guy until this interview, actually; now I think I might actually kind of like him.

The first "shock jock" and according to Time Magazine worth half a billion. They made a film of his life that Brand mentions that opened at No.1. on the American Box office. The character in Fisher King (nominated for 5 Oscars) played by Jeff Bridges was based on him. As Russel says a cultural icon - whether you like him or not.

Just like with the Ruskies, Germany undoubtedly had the capacity to defeat Britain, just not with Hitler in power.

The fact people forget is that the Germans did everything they could to ensure the Russians didn't get to Germany first.The Russian/German battles dwarf the battles that the UK and US had. And the relentless numbers of Russians thrown at The Nazi's was the real reason Germany lost. Russia won WW2, If we like it or not.
