  • is it an EEO?

  • @MPSecare Eurasian Eagle Owl, yes.

  • This might be a dumb question, Since they have developed eye sight, wouldnt the candler blind them or is it perfectly safe?

  • @ronell100 Perfectly safe. It used to be done with actual candles so this is way safer than even that.

  • I have been Educated!

  • haah i got done watching peabody's bathtime

  • LOL its cool that theres a way to light up the egg like that... when i was younger i lived on a farm and we would hold up the chicken and goose eggs to the sun (and be carful not to drop or let then touch our skin) to see if there where babys in them. if there where then we would let them hatch and if there whernt.... yum~ breakfast XD

  • Lovely, I adore owls and Eagle owls are one of my top favs =D

  • Anyone taking birds from the wild for "Education" needs a boot to the head. It must be so much fun to work in a place like in this video. What great work. :0)

  • baby owl: Daam! what does a baby owl gota do to get some sleep here!

  • is a eagle owl mixied

  • @africandinosaurdudes No, it's not a cross of an owl and an eagle. They're called eagle owls because they are very large owls. Large like many eagles are.

  • an eagle owl? i'm extremely confused.

  • @iHEARTlions123456789 They are called eagle owls because they are very large. They can weigh between 3-9 lbs and can kill a 30lb roe deer.

  • @WorldBirdSanctuary why thank you :)

  • @WorldBirdSanctuary Wouldn't doing this cause damage to the baby owls' eyes? Just curious.

  • I have a question when do they open there eyes?

  • That's extremely bright! Isn't it hot, and even if it isn't, couldn't the brightness hurt the baby?

  • @katklub It's not hot, just very bright. It doesn't harm the developing chick at all.

  • The whole time i was watching this i was thinking, "DON'T DROP THE EGGS!!!"

  • was that peanut butter at 4:38? haha

  • Really cool video. Thank you for taping this :3

  • @GrowlyGal You're welcome! Thank you, and everyone else, for watching!!

  • @WorldBirdSanctuary nice video i love birds i got a pet galah at home XD she'd a noisy bitch but i still love her and also she flew away 1 time and i had to wait for 1 and a 1/2 for her to fly out the tree llolz

  • @WorldBirdSanctuary hi just asking but can you get owls as pets

  • @alexlogan134 In some foreign counties you can, but to be truthful, they don't make good pets at all. They are cute as babies, but as adults they become fussy, and sometimes aggressive. Their feet are strong enough to break a hand without trying.

  • @alexlogan134 Unlike what we read about in Harry Potter, owls are not pets. In fact, even parrots, which have been kept as pets for millenia (yep since ancient times) are really really hard pets to keep - I have one and have read lots on the subject. Don't get a pet bird unless you spend most of your time at home, don't get a pet bird if you have a crazy busy job, have small children or plan on having children...

  • @manicfrida Lots of people get pet birds, especially parrots because they think they're cute and smart and they'll talk only to realize that they need a lot of attention and time, are very nosy and often aggressive... so millions of parrots end up homeless and in shelters. Now parrots are vegetarians... Owls are not - they are birds of prey... Not only is it potentially very dangerous to keep one in captivity, but what kind of life do you think that bird will have in a cage?

  • Aw!! :D

  • it would be bad to get the dummy eggs mixed with the realones

  • Are these eggs from KC and Sailor?
