He never have the courage to admit invading other countries is wrong and let his ministers took the blame after the war. If I recall correctly, the Beer Hall Pustch failed miserably, and Hitler went to jail. The election in 1933 however was a democratic election in which the majority of the German people (including many German Jews) decide to put their faith on Hitler despite his eccentricities. This is why Hindenburg cannot do anything but to handed power to that maniac. We just got to admit democracy do fail us some times.

Mussolini did the same with the squadristi; he bullied the people of Italy and used assassination and intimidation to defeat his enemies. Francisco Franco was the best general that the Nationalists had in their war against the Republicans and used that to take control of the new fascist Spain.

You picked a fight with Japan first, with your vulgarism. If you would like to learn why war was happened, following factors must be considered.
1) Chinese special politics which has been done for hundreds of years. And finally, Mao and Chiang drew Japan into the war to use to rob the Chinese regime.
2) European imperialism. European had made excessive profits in China and other Asian countries. America and Britain did their best to separate Japan and China to avoid the cooperation.

3) Japanese communists. They sought confusion of war to manage realise communism policy. Soviet Union and American communists helped Japanese base comrades. And they carried out planned economy.

Brainwashing is communist's strong suit. Taiwan and Korea were parts of Japan in those days like Hokkaido and Okinawa, and what's wrong with that?

Anyhow it doesnt mean the responsibility of Imperial family.
