  • LOL--this was the girls' "slut phase."

  • Keren looks hot she`s my fav banana girl.

  • Who is the singer on the right side, cant remember her name?

  • @Rico5340 Right side? That's Karen.

  • This song's really good - though copied from Eurythmics's "Missionary Man", edited some 4 years before. And we all can notice something's going wrong on the stage - Jacqui is not dressed like her counterparts and she moves in a bizarre way...

  • Artistically, probably their best single, from their best album. They worked with some great people on the album.

  • my fave Bananarama single

    Jacqui was hot as FIRE

  • Keren Woodward is so pretty. she's defo my favourite

  • @MissBoagJunior89 Is she still?

  • paul cook of the sex pistols on drums

  • keren looks so hot , miss siobhan tho but great song

  • No no girls heaven is gonna get you I feel!

  • This is my favorite era of Bananarama! POP LIFE! Best 'nana album, look, sound.

  • was a great album, they down this road after shakespears sister 1st album, shame they went back to gay pop, was a good style and sound

  • So sexy. Great song, great look and a good routine here I think

  • would have been even better with Siobhan

  • no i don't think so. she was strange...

  • agree she was always the crucial member, jacquie never cut it and was got rid off so quick

  • @jxcancan Jackie never looked right. All the original members had an Edwardian beauty. Jackie was from the north and had that northern exotic look. I was so glad when she left the band and Bananarama became a duo.

  • @GoblinsFriend Jacqui was forced on them, it didn't work when Sarah and Keren have been best friends since the age of four and wanted to continue as a duo...

  • @emmyjo720 -- Yes, that seems strange, since Soibhan's exit was due to that fact -- Sarah and Keren were too tight and ended up freezing her out.

Pop Life may have actually been Bananarama's best album, but aesthetically, Jacqui was such a mistake -- she came from the midlands or north, and was too exotic and contrasted with Keren and Sarah's Edwardian good looks.

  • @GoblinsFriend Siobhan wasn't frozen out, she got married and wasn't there. It was like Nadine in GA, you can't be a band if one of you isn't there and isn't interested. Siobhan was living in LA and regretted signing up with SAW, even though she was happy enough at first.I think marrying Dave Stewart was the problem because she took herself too seriously, she did not work well with Pete Waterman. I think that was who You're History was aimed at. Shakespeare's Sister was a trap for her.

  • Gotta love the girls in their "slut" phase! Love this song.

  • dig the choreography on this.

  • why do they gotta lip sync?

  • I love you really.

  • They look great here. I remember when I bought the POP LIFE tape in 1992, I loved watching the pictures from the inside booklet, in wich they looked like in this video.

  • i remember seeing them do this on a xmas tv show, i thought it would have been a bigger hit than it was.

  • paul cook of the sex pistols playing the drums inbetween jobs

  • Funky!

  • really a great dynamic popsong. Should´ve been much HIGHER in the charts. Especially in Germany. The same with the POP LIFE Album. It´s fun!

  • I love this song!

  • Sara must have hair extentions during this period....because by '92 she had her gorgeous hair back tee hee

  • do you mean the hair on her head or vadge?

  • Are you on repeat?Or is this groundhog day???

  • Oh they've gone....thanks uploader!! x x

  • im not on repeat and this aint groundhog day and dont call me a loser when you dont even know me - thats just rude

  • Party on!

  • Great song. Should have been the lead single of of the much ignored Pop Life album. It sounded a bit more like traditional Bananarama. They lead off with Only Your Love. A great song but too different and it only hit 27 in the UK.

  • Ooooh very polished...lovely thankoooo

  • Another vintage performance from TOP OF THE POPS!

  • with the r and b harmonica master johnny mars!

  • the best in the world

  • So cool, como mola
