No, I was wrong when i used the term professionals, we all know the difference between the level of NBA and that of the Euroleague. And NBA level is not because it is held in America but the FACT that the best players in the world plays in the NBA not just Americans. And 3.5 million euros? in 1995 Jordan earned more than that in 10 games. And believe me he tried to go to the NBA he was drafted in 1995 but never gain a place in the roster (heard of Sacramento Kings?).
I've watched basketball for a very long time, actually I played it many years ago when I was about 17. There were many great players in the history and it's very difficult to remember all of them, in that case you can forget some of them and it's not fair, definitely. But if I have to make a choice, then I vote for Dejan Bodiroga and Drazen Petrovic. For people who understand this magic game, some other explanations aren't necessary and for all others, it doesn't matter.

he might be good but i never saw him play and base on this "highlights" video, he is not fancy player as well. cause all i see is lay ups and his "unique" form in his jump shots. Nowitzki is way better because he played with the better players in the NBA.

@09191980 Well I've seen him play and I watch NBA for 16 years and I'll put it like this: the guy was a monster!
Not so attractive moves, sometimes weard moves, I agree, but efficiency really matters. Like I give a fuck if Bryant does impressive 360 and shoots 6-24 in the game. I'll treat his game in that case still as a fail.
And Nowitzki... no way you can compare him to Bodiroga. Not even close. And Bodiroga played against USA team, Serbia won world cup then against USA in finals.

@doubleGi like I said, Bodriga never prove his worth with the best of the world. He played a game or 2 with the US ok that is something, but playing with a group of professionals that has played for years then doing it almost 4 months straight is way different. He was a legend in Serbia it`s just a shame we never saw him play in the NBA. About comparing him to Kobe Bryant, ok USA team with Kobe in it, NO country has a chance, Serbia beat USA without Kobe, Shaq and Garnett. No offense.

@doubleGi And besides. I'm watching Euroleague and NBA for 20 years and am playing bansketball for around 15 years. At some time I had memorized all players in NBA (I don't anymore, was really pointless, but I can still hit you with starting 5 for at least 80% of teams).
And saying that Nowtzki is better is just laughable. I see him play in NBA, I've seen him play in World cup. He's nothing speacial and will never get a ring, he just doesn't have what it takes-balls and hart.

bodiroga=ginobilli...bodiroga is more big an have more ofensive skills but ginobili have good ofensive skills plus defensive skills.

Ginobilli is excellent, but what he and most other players lack is the excellent overall vision and 'feel' for the game, which only players like Jordan, Magic, Bodiroga and such have. Also, Bodiroga is a natural leader, led every team he was ever on, where Ginobilli is not on that level.
