  • Street of Fire introduced me to Michael Pare Willem Dafoe,& Almost best of all Mr. ALvin and The Blasters. Most memorable and gorgeous Diane Lane takes it, but i'm sure the blasters agree.LOL. Great Tune!

  • Watch the Movie Credits... Willem Dafoe DID sing it!! was NOT a lipsync!

  • The first time I heard this song was when I watched the movie "Roadhouse 66", I was young naive at the time, because I thought Willem Dafoe really sang this song in the movie.

  • I can't believe somebody didn't like this song. It's awesome. brings me back to when I was in college in 1982. What happened to this group?

  • @Iamaniceguy2 They're playing at Seattle Sound Fest August 19th-21st.

  • Too awesome! i found out about this when i heard lars frederiksen and the bastards version! if you haven't heard it, search it up! both versions are just as awesome for their own reasons. i LOVE this song!

  • FANTASTIC

  • This was recorded in Rockin' Ronnie Wiser's living room released on Rollin' Rock Records and was the demo tape the Blasters hawked around....Killer stuff....

  • The Blasters, I love these guys. Reminds me of the Del Rey section of southwest Detroit in the 50's and 60's. Duck tails, tight Levis tee shirt, sun glasses and pointed shoes. Cake eaters and rocka hill billies. These white boys can really rock.

  • @klintos2 ..You are hip to Del Rey?...WOW!...I lived in the Motor City until 68 and used to hang in Del Rey...the real deal.

  • Top notch

  • We've got Louisiana boogie and the Delta blues

We've got country, swing and rockabilly, too

We've got jazz, country/western and Chicago blues

It's the greatest music that you ever knew!

  • THIS IS ROCK N ROLL

  • Can this rubbish in the dustbin? We better listen to Ronnie Mack!

  • Blast this song loud!!!!!

  • Why do I love The Blasters? They're really cool cats!
