Copy's flow on this track is flawless. I always thought he sounded amazing when he would spit slightly faster than his own normally paced flow. Or when he would drop double-time flows. This dude has mastered the art of rhyming down to a science.

The vibe on this track is very genuine as well. Subject matter matches the production. I'm digging the cool slowed-down beat, it suits Copy's flow perfectly. It's resembles a Twista song, just not as rapid. I bet Copywrite could pull that off too.

"Shotgun" represents for better or worse a new hybrid of music that Copywrite has been exploring. Copy who is a huge Kurt Cobain fan and also can identify which the tragic nature of Kurt Cobain's death. The song also mirrored Kurt's relationship with Courtney and past relationships Copy had been through. I myself like the song and also like the fact that Copywrite is never scared to take risks.
