  • @Diesloanen My Mexican brothers LOVE this type of music!!!!

  • slow dance.........magic!

  • Memories

  • For me, this song means Oh What A Knight -- Paul McCartney is a knight. And he is kind enough to warn the human race right here on youtube that eating animals will be the death of them. I got that message even before I saw Paul's video. In fact, I got my menstrual period the same year as "the British Invasion"--right after the Beatles appeared for the first time on The Ed Sullivan Show.So no surprise that I became a vegan at the same time Paul McCartney did. But I was a virgin longer than Paul.

  • @redfordforpresident Wow you are indoctrinated by mr. paul. The same one who decided to put Allister Crowley on the cover of their album. But.. what, no way Allister Crowley is a satanist, damn who would of thought it.

  • That drawin in wak! Lmfao

  • Yep i remember this one

  • @themoshmenace well sorry we couldnt all live in the wonderful place you lived in....

  • Grandpa always said it was the best music ......Grandpa was right!!!!!

  • Just because some of the music is stupid in our generation doesnt mean that the times we live in suck.... back in the 50s we were still racist as shit... our generation is the result of harsh restrictions that went on back then kinda like a independance movement. is it good or bad? it depends but people need to stop wishing that they could live in a different time and work towards making today better

  • @SD760NC Speak for yourself, sir. As a teenager I lived in a small town in southern Michigan. As far as I know no one in our school was racist. Come to think of it, no one was using drugs either. lol

  • @SD760NC you right about that. I use to tell my father i wished could have been around back then and he would say hell no you wouldn't have! It was all good in the hood, but when you stepped out you caught hell!

  • @SD760NC Agreed

  • @SD760NC Not everyone was racist as hell, unless you lived in the South. And no, today doesn't suck that bad, BUT we have gotten way, way ahead ourselves and we got here too fast for a lot of things and not fast enough for others. Not all progress is good and you can't dispute the fact that times were simpler back then and crime, white collar or other was not as rampant. There was a lot more respect toward women and elderly back then, today it seems like it's all for one's self.

  • @SD760NC There is nothing wrong with wishing to live in another time so long as you dont forget to LIVE in the time your in.

  • @SD760NC

My mother playing her 45's on a wooden TV size turn table, she's dancing and putting on make up to go out with my dad and their friends. Soon as they left my sister's and I would go to the nearest house party, then run home and pretend we were sleep when they returned. RIP mama and daddy

  • the best music as a kid in the 50's a teen in the 60's great to listen to acapalo in the streets of Bklyn NY watch the Black teen agers do the GRIND IN THE CORNER CANDY STORE, IT BRINGS BACK GREAT MEMORIES

  • A #1 hit for The Dells on the Rhythm & Blues charts. It was the 200th #1 R&B song of the Rock Era. It also hit #10 on the Top 40 charts.

  • Looks like she didnt know when to stop talking huh?

  • mabey 50s were good for whites but not for blacks deff not even thought they made beautiful music -___-

  • @TheEternalWisdom wasn't very good for women too haha

  • @missbraindamage Women have been a greatly overlooked source of human capital for human evolution. Women seem to do well in situations that require calmness in non calm situations: military, nurses, ambulance & rescue. Of course they do other jobs well. The community & country should have a holiday or week honoring their presence in the work force. There is one thing that they can't do is piss on a wall.

  • @purplepimpernel well actually that's possible with enough practice :P

  • @dorchestergirl41 I wish i was to my grandma and grandpa tell me great things about the 50s although i am only 14..... :-)

  • i love how the older generation knows how to youtube their favorite song from back in the day, maybe their turntable broke, lost the needle, vinyls are in storage or the kids took them, so they got handy with the interwebs, good show

  • I still have the 45 and LP of this song. That was great time to be growing up in N.J.Just got to figure where I stached it.

  • i love it i gues i am one of the olders razor ramon c/s for ever?

  • now this is music.

  • damn man....u older folks had it sweet...

  • @damaster59 There were good times; there were bad times. For me they were mostly bad times.

  • luv the sax

  • SANxJONERO. I GUESS I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND RAP. IT SOUNDS LIKE THERE JUST RHYMING AND TALKING. NO MUSIC TO SPEEK OF. I HERE THESE CARS GO BY WITH THIS EXTREMELY LOUD BOOMING!!! THEN THERES STUFF ABOUT RAPEING, & KILLING PEOPLE???? TO ME THATS NOT HAVING A GOOD TIME....& IT'S NOT GOOD FOR YOUNG MINDS THAT ARE BEING MOLDED!!!

  • I WISH I LIVED IN THE 50'S OR 60'S

  • @Metalgearsolid1992 i know rite1 i.m so jealouse of my parents. lol

  • @97krazygurl haha theyre so lucky!!!!!!!!! if only i could go back in time lol

  • @Metalgearsolid1992 Yeah the 1950's and 60's were great. That whole segregation, "Bull" Conner spraying Black people with water hoses, church bombing, KKK killing people for no reason, Vietnam thing was sooooo blown out of proportion.

  • @JPfromFlint well i mean, aside of all the bad things it was still an awesome time to be alive. like all those oldies groups. Man i wish i was alive at that time to go to their concerts haha

  • I'M LOCKED UP, RAPPIN OVER THE PHONE, CHECK ME OUT....

  • Im really starting to wish I was born in the older ages . Where violence was a crime and not worshiped.

  • This is real music. Not the stuff you hear on the radio. I wish i lived back then im only 15 but this is wat i grew up listin to. Oldies always n forever.

  • I could jus relax and listen to this music all day! I love it

  • I was born in the wrong generation.

I can't stand the new Rap Crap, and Hippity-hop.

This my friends, is real music, and I'm proud to listen to it. <3

  • Rap isn't music. That is that...It's crap from the ...There was a time when Black people made good music. Now it's shit. And I don't care what color makes it, as long as it's music. The sad thing is that Rap/Hip Hop(same to me), will be around for eternity, and that's pathetic.

  • im a single-celled organism and i totally love this more than todays music, except maybe for jurassic rock!

  • Hey Guys, look at me, Im a fucking Fetus, and i love this. ( Attention, NO one gives a fuck how old you are, you dumb little turds, just listen to the music )

  • oldies forever.....

  • See, im only 14.. And i love this music. More than anything i wasn't born in this time obviously but i sure wish i was instead of being stuck in this age with nothing but Rap songs about drugs and sex and killing rather than this music that actually has a wonderful meaning. And I have to listen to shit everytime im with my friends , if i showed them this, I honestly think they would make fun of me.

  • Why does this recording sound so cheap compared to the original?

  • If I said I was Mark, would you still let me sign in?

  • I'm 12 and I know I was born in the wrong generation.

  • @itachilover911melt

Well, then make your generation a better generation.

  • @itachilover911melt Nah. You'll never hear any of the songs sung after you die. But right now you can listen to ALL of the songs sung before you were born and up to the day you die. It's better to be born late.

  • @itachilover911melt Fuck off you 12 year old punk bitch. You'd probably cry like a little faggot without the internet and video games. Suck my dick.

  • @Dilly5 why ou hatin on the lil kid?

  • @Dilly5 what's your problem Dilly5 ... maybe you should change your name!

  • @Dilly5 Uhm, no.

If I were born back then I wouldn't even know what the internet was or what video games were.

I'd be glad to, then I could bite it off and you would be the one crying like a little faggot.

  • hey bitch i'm 12 too ass whole how old are you acting all bad ass

  • @butteryalbert I don't give a fuck how old you are, you dick sucking little shit

  • ya me 2 im 13 and love oldies if only was born then

  • @itachilover911melt same here except im 13 :)

  • @itachilover911melt No, you weren't, baby.

  • @itachilover911melt i know

  • Respond to this video... .

  • I was born in 1991 and I love this kind of music. Im sick of this generation of music. I wish i was a teen in the 50's

  • GLAD TO HERE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKING THE OLDIES. I HATE WHEN THE YOUNG PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO EVEN UNDERSTAND THE OLDIES. I BELEIVE THERE MISSING SO MUCH......THANKS FOR LISTENING, RAY....

  • @ROTH1944 When my sister and I were like 5 years old my mom used to play these songs for us. I'm very glad she did.

  • This song is great but ruined by those weird ass clowns.

  • back in those days there were killings too. but not as much there were more fistfights and fair ones. thats how its supposed to be

  • @12212a2 its sad to say but your right.. youngsters these days just pull out guns.. back in the day it was more about fighting with your fists.. now there is no honor in this day and
