I disagree, I think Sara has had a lot more attention. I think Tegan deserves the world. She writes melodies that can bring me to my knees and lyrics that express what I can't put into words. But I do relate to tons of Sara's music too.

funny how tegan is telling sara she finally had her first single and tegan wrote all the other singles. walking with a ghost was their first biggest hit in the usa and the song most people recognize them by. incredible song and i absolutely love tegan, but in my opinion sara writes incredible and has such a unique voice, as well as tegan, but sara doesnt get as much credit as she deserves.

Tegan and Sara arn't even a band, they each write their own songs (they never write them together) there just two people that write songs and give a part to the other.

Hey umm, I dont know who you think are a legit band. A majority of bands have one individual write the songs... Even in the Red Hot Chili Peppers Case, usually they have a jam off and whoevers part is better out of John and Flea they go with(Anthony's Bio).

Beatles same thing, John, Paul, George, and Ringo all wrote songs in that band and gave the parts to each other.

Jazz musicians do the same thing, its just how song writing works.

So yes Tegan and Sara are infact a band...
