Wow, I mean the cut ups from trying to edit in zyurangers battle scenes into MMPR was kind of sloppy sometimes, but you could kind of look past it, but this...omg this , I am so glad it wasn't this way when I was a kid, I wouldn't have watched it I bet.

Makes me wonder what Nicktoons is gonna do when they start airing these MMPR episodes. Will they use the remastered version or go back to basics and air the episodes as nature intended?
i don't like the added effects, well i dont mind most of them but the comic 'pow' added effects to the human battle scenes just make the episodes look stupid.

The majority of the changes were entirely unnecessary, like the background after Jason dismissed the class. The cleaning up of the footage was good, as was the enhanced CGI for the laser effects. But the BONG!s and SNAPs reminded me of the 60s Batman series. It turned the series from somewhat mature at times into downright childish. If they were hoping to bring backl some of the old fans they failed.
This was something I thought should have in my mind a memory from my childhood but DISNEY RUINED IT I HATE YOU DISNEY YOU FAWKED UP ALL THE GOOD MOMENTS OF MY CHILDHOOD
To me, graphically, it looks sharper. So that's a plus and that's about it. What i don't like though are the extra features like the signs such as "Oof!" & "Snap!" during the fight. I mean seriously? That reminds me of the old-school "Batman" cartoon on tv years ago. And then signs such as "Red Ranger Tyrannosaurus!"
The show was better off when they yelled those things and not as text.
And this is comming from a guy who is a fan from the old-school Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.

I...HATE...THIS!!!!! That flushing sound you all heard was the sound of our childhoods being flushed down the toilet. The good news is that it's not exceedingly hard to find the old episodes. Eventually there will be a Digital Archive Project of MMPR (if there isn't one already).
They can't really remaster if that's how it also was in the original Super Sentai, but they could have added the extra scenes themselves instead of cut and paste.

The new opening was great. I love the subtle changes, but remastering does not mean turning the whole episode into ONE BIG AMV!!! I'm serious. If anyone from Disney is skimming through these comments for any reason, please, heed my words. When you remaster something, that is involves touching up the visuals and remastering the audio. It does not, however, involve adding extremely distracting, and might I add cheap and cheesy, special effects and changing the actual content of the show.

The majority of the changes were entirely unnecessary, like the background after Jason dismissed the class. The cleaning up of the footage was good, as was the enhanced CGI for the laser effects. But the BONG!s and SNAPs reminded me of the 60s Batman series. It turned the series from somewhat mature at times into downright childish. If they were hoping to bring backl some of the old fans they failed.

To me, graphically, it looks sharper. So that's a plus and that's about it. What i don't like though are the extra features like the signs such as "Oof!" & "Snap!" during the fight. I mean seriously? That reminds me of the old-school "Batman" cartoon on tv years ago. And then signs such as "Red Ranger Tyrannosaurus!"
The show was better off when they yelled those things and not as text.
And this is comming from a guy who is a fan from the old-school Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.

The new opening was great. I love the subtle changes, but remastering does not mean turning the whole episode into ONE BIG AMV!!! I'm serious. If anyone from Disney is skimming through these comments for any reason, please, heed my words. When you remaster something, that is involves touching up the visuals and remastering the audio. It does not, however, involve adding extremely distracting, and might I add cheap and cheesy, special effects and changing the actual content of the show.
