I think it's about the good old craving we've all been suffering from. The insatiable need to be loved, confirmed, accepted and recognized. The whole movie is a cry from the heart "please love me !" "I want to be special", "I want you to think I'm cool and interesting" "and by the way, don't you know that I'm Trungpa's son ?".
This movie is very boring. A complete waste of time and money. But someone saw an opportunity to make some money with his father's name. The part with Dzongsar Rinpoche is nice but don't go see the movie only for that reason because it last only five minutes and the best part of it is in the trailer anyway.
