I really hope that someday Simon and Miquita do a show together again, they were great on Popworld. The highlight of Miquita's career was probably when she called Ke$ha a cunt, and Simon's when he accused Courtney Love of murdering Kurt Cobain. Please God make this happen!
Oh it made me sad that he doesn't miss Buzzcocks. I always wish he'd come back to it because it's just not the same without his wittiness. His 'insults' to people were taken lightheartedly. Except Preston who walked off, he took it too seriously, but he's a dick. Even Anthony Costa found Simon hilarious, so that's saying something.

Such a more relaxed laid back interview. Where he isn't judged for the way he is, because lets be honest, if he was anything like the fake BBC interviewers too afraid to offend someones fragile sensibilities, he'd be boring, dull and unknown. Instead, he's funny, interesting and REAL. If only more people spoke their mind and didn't hide behind the lies they tell. They'd probably have better peace of mind knowing that they're not deceiving themselves or others about who they are.

I love Noel Fielding, but hearing him say that Simon Amstell ruined buzzcocks it just mean. whatswiththiskid - i didnt understand Grandmas house. his live stuff is funny but for me unfortunately, like he says in this interview, its bogged down with 2 much relationship stuff. its offputting. i cant understand why he doesnt miss buzzcocks.
@NMtB4ev4 are you serious? the relationship stuff is the best part of his stand up .His jokes about not being able to chat blokes up and sex awkwardenss had me in stiches. Maybe you should give them another chance.
@spirithunter121 Russel Watson already trivialised his illness by doing a reality show about it. I think it was something he said in the awkwardness of the moment, it certainly didn't seem premeditated. Simon Amstell attacks himself more than anyone/thing else in his comedy, if you knew anything about his work. If RW wanted to be treated with respect and dignity he always had the option of dealing with the issue privately, like any other normal person would have done. Chill dude X

He got Linda Bassett on his program. LINDA BASSETT, who obviously got the script before she signed on for the show. That's pretty good reinforcement of how truly gifted Mr. Simon Amstell is.
