My favorite is Psalm 137 when it says, "Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks. " I think I'd rather like to throw my enemy's infants against rocks. Can you imagine what that would look like? How it might sound? Smell? Feel? Lifting an infant over your head and throwing it down as hard as you can against rocks. GOD I love the bible! Thank you Yahweh for this clearly divinely inspired book from superstitious and savagely barbaric bronze age Palestine.

@mouthyweasel Those of us who understand what the Bible is, and are faithful Christians, often don't know how to react to these kind of criticisms. I will assume you aren't an idiot, and you understand that literature has "types." One would not interpret historically inspired theology, an apocalypse, a poem, or a letter in the same way, would they? (yet all these types, and more, are included in the Bible.) Are there ppl who don't get this? Sure. But I don't insult them. U're better than this!

@SeriousVoyager I understand quite well what the bible is. I've read it twice. There's nothing in the bible that couldn't POSSIBLY have been written by bronze age men. It's repeatedly wrong about SO many things. Geography, Cosmology, Morality, etc. I see tenets of Christianity to be immoral as well. It's immoral madness & scapegoating to have another man die so you can be forgiven by someone who isn't actually there. So you don't have to go to a lake of fire that doesn't actually exist.

When I was saved last year, I had some false teachers raising doubts about eternal security. Check out my channel if you want to see my full testimony. Anyway, I was in heavy spiritual warefare. God "urged" me to read the Psalms. I never read it before, and couldn't tell you the # to a single psalm. One night, the attacks stopped. I felt God's prescense in the room. God "gently urged" me to read Psalm23. God let me know Psalm 23 was the answer to my question. Praise Jesus!

Have you read the bible any at all? The bible is the Inspired word of God, hence part of Christianity. Its in perfect context.

King David is not talking about Christianity.

what do you feel when he's talking about the House of the Lord?

what do you feel when he's talking about haters of his people?

some of these haters ARE christians. some of the christians DOES want to destroy judaism.

King David is talking as a jewish, from Judah, to the jewish nation, and to GOD as an only GOD, with no one beside him.

He is talking to his children, all of his children be they Jew or Christian. I am not debating this with you, take it as you will, I know what God has done within my life, the healing he has brought to my family and my life. The video is for encouragement from the bible that I take as fully 100% as the inspired word of Abba my father in heaven. You can't take that away from me, no one can take that away from me. Whats more, its not relating to Christianity but to a relationship with the Father in heaven, the creator, Savior, Comforter. God's strength to me is what sees me through life each and every sngle day. If you can't understand that then I am sorry, but its my relationship with Him that has brought me from a darkness that overshadowed my life for many years. For he healed me spiritually and made me a new person in Him. Love and God Bless

God speaks to all his children through all scripture, the Holy Spirit gives discernment to know this. God was speaking through David to us all who saw beyond the simple text, for each and every single word of Psalm 23 speaks to my heart, my spirit. It gives me strength every time I read it. I'm sorry if you've got me wrong, but i'm not trying to rejact christianity and proove judaism. im not getting into this argument now. i asked my question from being honestly interested.

the psalms are included obvious jewish simbols. the whole psalms is a one jewish book, from all aspects.

what do you feel when you read this? "House of the Lord", "haters of Israel" etc...

(once again, i really want to know. i'm not here to tell anybody what to believe in).

I do not hate Jewish people, my Lord and Savior is Jewish. I am not good at quoting verses but as scripture says, Jew are a chosen people by God, I do not hate but respect for chose them to place the seed of the Savior of the world in. Hope I am making sense, just woke up so my brain is a bit sluggish. God Bless

@SurvivorsFaithTV correction, the isrealites are the chosen people. the jews are but one part of the tribe of judah which are one of the 13 tribes of israel, but most of them are not even real jews for real jews are against the state of israel.

The video was made as encourage not just for myself but for other out there. Proverbs and Psalm are only to of my favorite books in the OT, when I make these videos I make them from the heart for not just myself but anyone who needs encouragement. You may want to know as well, I do believe in the trinity because I feel that is truth through my own relationship with God. Any scripture I use OT or NT is and always will be Spirit led and of God for others. God Bless

Believe and have faith, that's the message here, This is so filling in spirit, this was my sister Lety's favorite, she had cancer and her faith never went down, I know she is now with the Lord because she never gave up.
