You can't let a little rain ruin your WDW vacation. I've been there a bunch of times and I know from experience that there is just so much to do even when it pours.
Florida and Disneyworld Resort always gets Tropical Storms than A thunderstorm from North Africa was over Paris and Disneyland Paris back in 2009. Core that storm was worse.
if your planning on going to disney, try going during the winter if it's not too cold; to some of you snow birds it might feel nice during december and januaray just usually no storms!
Omg I totally remember this! Me and the fan had to wait under an awning for like an hour! But when it was only down to a sprinkle, the ques were like empty!
I'm so glad for all the days I went to, not only Disneyland, but California Adventure and Universal that it never rained at all. Sure, I got sunburned twice, but at least I didn't get soaked twice! This trip must've epic-ly sucked for you guys.

I remember when i went to orlando with my mum a few years back, we got caught in a huge storm and coz were british were already proper used to it. We walked down mainstreet USA in magic kingdom and we got the strangest looks, but to us it was just what we would do if we were out at home! Great times!
I hated it when it rained on my last visit there. When we went to the Magic Kingdom, we left the park for a bit to eat our packed lunches. And as we got back into the park, it started raining cats and dogs, leaving practically everyone in the park- including me and my family- trapped inside an Adventureland shop. :(
But my folks and I made the most of it by going on Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion. And after going on the ol' HM, the rain stopped. :)
hey all =p got a tip for ya goin gdow to disney!!! if u ever go down onto disney... bring ponchos just incase if it rains!!! if it does rain... then just go to someplace thats nice and dry(maybe a shop) and put on your ponchos and go to a ride... =p alot of people go home when its raining =p

When i went on christmas day, 2005 i think, the power went off in magic kingdom, because of a massive storm, it was crazy, people were stuck on space mountain for a while, when i had just came off the ride, everything stopped, lucky us!!
thats not a tropical storm! it does that almost on a daily basis from may until august, and only lasts like an hour sometimes a little longer...i used to work at one of the outdoor rides in the magic kingdom and had to deal with that almost every day
lol have u ever been at cedar point? i have i was just about to get on mantis but then they said there was lightning so i went back and it started pooring i ran vback to the otel and there were thousands of people screaming and when i got to the hotel it took 5 days to get the clothes totally wet and i swore i saw a funnel it was scary!!
Stay at the hotel. Get room service and watch the storm from your window. I think this beats waiting in line for hours for a 5 minute Splash Moutain ride in the 90 degree heat
i remember this day! i was working at the speedway in tomorrowland at this time. we wouldnt shut down until lightening struck, and it resulted in guests running out of cars onto the track! we had a huge backup and needed to get the cars back so the guests who stayed in the cars could get through and off. i only remember this day because i insisted on switching jobs after this lol
