  • Frank Thomas. a TRUE super hero. one of the greatest hitters in ALL of MLB history. in fact in his first 7 years of his career, his stats rank with the Baseball GODS i.e. Babe Ruth, Ted Williams. Go Sox!

  • wow comiskey used to look so ugly and basic back then

  • Agreed, glad they made it look more like the old stadium

  • wow that is really REALLY gay

  • ...said the guy named BananaJack

  • ha ha! Nice! The man likes Bananas! Hopefully he only uses them to eat with.

  • Yeah go Robin Ventura!!!!! Nolan Ryan stinks!!!!!

  • robin ventura my guy

  • robin ventura was the best

  • robin ventura was awesome!!! two grandies in one game no wonder he's the best

  • Robin Ventura, Is among the greatest players, to play the game, and has so much class. What a quiet classy guy. We all miss Robin Ventura!!!

  • And I remember when he got his ass kicked by Nolan Ryan :p

  • Yeh, that was a tragic day for all of us Ventura fans, and so out of character for Robin. Ironically, my wife's favorite player is Nolan Ryan. And even more interesting, purely by chance!!!, our wedding aniversary is Saturday August 4th 2000. It was on August 4th 1993, the day Ventura made the only mistake of his baseball career!

How wierd is that!!! I think it fits, LOL.

  • I was but a little kid then, but all I could think is "wow, I never want to get on the wrong side of Nolan". I've been Following Baseball since I was 2, and it's pretty sad that most of my favorite players are past the prime, Greg Maddux, Roger Clemens, Ryan Sandberg, Tom Glavine, Juan Gonzalez.... the list really goes on.

  • Most of those names: Maddux, (Sandberg -particularly!), Glavine, Gonzalez... They were great players, and just all around good guys. Remember when Sandberg, resigned because he was not playing at the level he thought he should be at his pay rate. Could you imagine anyone doing that in today?

Unfortunately, Clemens got caught up with the steroid era. , and he was somewhat of a hot head (roid rage?). Remember when he through the bat at Mike Piazza? LOL.

  • SHUT UP!!!!!!

  • So do I! I colect all his baseball cards!!!! I worship him!!!!

  • I grew up on these brilliant wgn ads, too bad they don't make them this creative anymore

  • robin ventura is a god.

  • Terry Bevington the brain.......AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • HAHAHAhehehe hohohahhahah The Dumbest manager in the 40 years that i have been watching. I once saw him bring in his best reliever to intentionally walk someone and then he pulled the guy. It did not work out.

  • The White Sox are the ONLY MLB team in Chicago

  • this is funky!

    i love

    and i remember it too!

    go white sox!

    wear black tonite

  • Vacumn man for Ozzie? Oh, Ozzie haters could have a field day with that one.

    That was fun to see.

  • "the brain"? they should have put the brain swelling on his ass instead...what a joke Terry Bevington was...

  • At least the "Big Hurt" won a world championship in his last year with the South Siders after 14 years of failures. But the White Sox, like the Red Sox finally won after 88 years of failures, too.

  • The 2005 world series was more magical than the 2004 one. The whitesox did it with no national attention and only lost one game throughout.

  • GO CHISOX!

  • I remember this. How cool.

  • lol @ Terry Bevington.

  • haha

  • Sadly, I remember this.

  • lol
