just as 9iam, please the general solution is not 5!/[n!(5-2)!]. The general solution for the probability of number of heads after 5 flips is 5!/[n!(5-n)!]
okay, i do love your videos but then when i read the comments posted by others, it doesn't quite satisfy me. Almost every comment makes a mention of the inadequacy of their professors. However, what we always forget is that the attention paid by us while watching a video is far greater than we do in our class. In most cases , we don't pay the required level of attention to our teachers. So,taking nothing away from Sal, i do think that we would do much better in class if we paid more attention !
@herojha i completely agree with you. More often than not, it's the conditions under which we are forced to learn these things in class that make us view our professors as being inadequate. Meeting and discussing the problems wiht them in person, i can tell some of them are excellent. But when the class is too early in the morning, or I'm too hungry or he/she lectures without a microphone (or has a soft voice), it can be almost impossible to learn much in class.
Hi Salman!! Thank u very much for ur lessons r great, so great that we pay so much attention n we even spot small mistake like, already stated, "n" instead of "2" but there is one more thing that I realized, pls! let me knw if am wrong, is in 10:32 when u say permutation. Shouldnt be combination? Cos the binomial coeficient of the binomial distribution is a combination not a permutation. Thank u again :)
i have been watching your vids for nearly a month now, just feel have to say Thank You! I think lots people appreciate for what u have done, and you ve done it brilliantly!
So Im sitting here getting ready for my Statistics exam... and Im panicing thinking "OMG Im going to FAIL this binomial crap", but for some reason I come onto youtube and I find your lessons on it... Youre my new hero. I want to hug you!!
Hi Sal, so when are we getting the Normal/Gaussian distribution? Also, a lesson on Maximum Likelihood would really help. Thanks a lot for all the lessons until now. You rock!

Fine use of YouTube.
Thank you, you saved me hours of learning since you explain very VERY well.
Actually, you did in 20 minutes what my professors couldn't do in 15 hours.

Forget it, there are no answers from the author, this is a one-way academy only, cool lectures but no feedback, bad thing.
