Gifted beyond belief. But had that important things - that separates gifted from those that can transcend in their art - a deep deep personal connection with whatever is beyond our understanding.
@die101 Dey will come 'round to likin' it eventually, iffen dey ain't gay. You jest cain't hide dis kinda music inside yo room. It's meant to be shared with da whole world, understand? Iffen dey doan come 'round, git sum new hommies cuz!
* * * * King Curtis - A Whiter Shade of Pale - HD ALfaDuB101 == ABSOLUTELY LOVELY AND ASTONISHING... THE HUMAN WONDER AS UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS... HAVE NO LIMITS FOR CREATING SUCH BEAUTIFUL HARMONY AND MUSIC. THANKS SO DEEPLY TO FRIENDS OF ALfaDuB101 FOR YOUR GENEROSITY TO SHARE WITH US THIS OUTSTANDING AND LOVELY PIECE OF ART, HEAVENLY MUSIC PERFORMANCE. JAVIER * * *
Man, enough of all these lame Withnail references made by nerds. King Curtis' playing here is just AMAZING. In fact, I've got a cramp in the mouth from grinning.
@eminemdisstopia you've got to admit that had it not been for the film many would never heard of the man or bought the album. Which I did and many others I'm sure. Legacy for the family no doubt.
@ALfaDuB101 I thought he was shot, but yeah what a loss. This is one of the most skilled, beautiful, classy, soulful pieces I've ever heard. Such a legend.
This was used for the intro to Withnail and I and every time I hear it I get that same feeling of joy and sadness that the film is about. It really just floats and flies over all the melancholia it conveys.

Fabuloso King Curtis uno de los grandes. Por cierto, muy interesante el Solo de Organo de Billy Preston.
