Event of forced migration of Armenians living in Eastern Anatolia (not the Armenians living in Western Anatolia) along with many other ethnicities including Turks, Kurds, Arabs were was forcefully migrated. Due to extreme harsh cold and disease 400 thousand Armenians died along with 300 thousand Turks.. So the number of 1.5 million Armenians died is incorrect. As a matter of fact total number of Armenians living in entire Ottoman territories 950,000 before the war.
