I started on Rosetta stone but I stopped :( and it's been awhile I'm 16 now but I want to get started again I've wanted to go to Tokyo japan for awhile now
Ahhh, I just missed out on this one by ... okay basically by an entire week, but whatever. Both of those books look awesome, particularly Breaking Into Japanese Literature. I'll have to remember that one so I can order it once I get some more funds (and er ... get it through that thick skull of mine that I ... don't need any more jewelry supplies off of ebay :|||| ). Just found your channel today but I'm working my way through your videos and they're super helpful/motivational. :D
@rockstarr1412 Ohh no! Well, there's another prize book available right now, I'm still making the video but you can see the details on facebook (dot) com (slash) KemushiChan :) ganbare!
@kemushichan No problem. You keep me motivated and on the right track. We need more positive and sharing people like you in this world. I hope everything your heart desires comes true. If you dont mind me asking, what is your life long dream. Mine is become an english teach in japan. I love to teach kids things that I know well. I teach english already over skype and I love it. :)
@zfish50 =) Thank you!!! My life long dream, is to create. This may seem very broad but no matter what I'm doing, I hope that I am creating something new, or putting something together so that it's more useful! More immediately, my dreams with Japanese are very close to their first step of "dream"-fulfilling :).
@kemushichan I actually went through it a while back. I can read normal books alright now, so currently I`m cycling through 「あなたがその人を捕まえたいと思ったら?」、「科学でわかる男と女の心と脳」、「草食系男子の恋愛学」、「会話がとぎれない!話し方66のルール」. They`re all semi-related, so it`s easy to hop around and helps me better remember the same vocab and similar phrases. And, though they`re not as fun, there are some textbooks I gotta use during summer break. 勉強しないと本当に困る、私。 XD
@lapizluprisma oHh thanks for the comment! I'm sure everyone will be glad to know! I used to teach out of this book when I taught high school students and they liked the stories! :)
im learning hiragana right now, and i almost remember all of them.
the thing is, i remember so much better when i actually reading and using the letters then just writting and saing it, but the problem is, my vocabulary really small, and most of the time i dont know what im reading.
so my question is, what should i do first, get a bit bigger vocabulary or learn hiragana even though i dont understand what i read?
@serverwolf I think these go hand-in-hand! Learn new vocabulary, and try to write the words in hiragana/katakana without any help at first. That way you're actually APPLYING something you're learning and solidifying it while applying it to something new. :)
@serverwolf my favorite online is jisho.org, you can copy past japanese into it, look up kanji by its parts, or you can type in japanese using kana OR romaji :).
it's sad that i didn't get to win a prize :( but i'm going to hope for the next one for beginners! and thank you very much for these prizes! good luck on our studies!
Agh! I've been meaning to buy this months prize! I was reading some on borders and it really is a good book. Thanks again for the video mrs. Loretta (;!!!!!!
嘘でしょう!うわああー やったぞ!ww 嬉しすぎる、言葉にできないよ!XD 今月の賞品も面白そうですね!読んでみたいな~ -- ... I'm so ... surprised I won XD wow. omg, so happy! (...practicing my bad Japanese there, lol, hope you don't mind)
this reminds me of my spanish book i usta have to read in college..it was called "dual reading" thanks God sometimes for it because reading literature in any language especially literature that is not easy level like history and detailed readings are hard.
