@yellowtuwtle I know there is a version of it in the Arban's book for trumpet its not exactly this but right on for most the parts, probably closest you will get to the real one w/o listening to this a million times to figue out all the notes.

@ActionEHamshraershV Not true actually mate, this song was written in 76 strictly for big band (Woody Herman). It didn't have any orchestral background except for the way allen solos. He always shows his love for orchestral style in his solos.

Ich bin Anfänger an der Trompete und habe Ten of best live gesehen. Ich konnte und kann mir bis heute nicht vorstellen wie diese Musiker das alles aus der Trompete rausholen. Nach dem Konzert brauchte ich zwei Tage um wieder weiter zu üben.. Wollte schon aufgeben.

Jeder Trompeter sollte einmal bei so einem Konzert dabei sein. Es ist Atemsraubend und jeden Cent wert.

@EvanTempleton Because, he's Allen Vizzutti, and when you get to that level of playing, whatever works is what you do.

I've met him, and even seen him play up close. He doesn't smash the horn into the face. It takes pressure to maintain a seal on the lips from your air pressure.

If you do some research, jazz instruments are comprised of trumpets, saxophones, pianos, trombones, double basses, drums, congas, banjos, tubas, cornets, flugelhorns, guitars and stuff (evidently not "made up of woodwinds"). Secondly, jazz is not the only nor the most common type of music in the world. There are so many not made up of woodwinds _|_
