Recently my Dash broke. It was in my pocket with some quarters and pennies and I went on a big roller coaster. When the ride was done I looked at my phone and 1/3 of the screen was white, the rest "cracked" and the "pixels" disoriented. I can just barely see the "contacts" button option in the bottom right corner.

i have a question. i have a dash with a broken LCD, i've bought a new LCD and i bought a dummy phone of the dash. i was wondering if it would be possible to take the guts out of the broken one and put them into the dummy frame with the new LCD. Do you think it will work?

How do you know when the phone only needs a screen replacement. My phone's screen is has lines full of colors and huge white spots. When i try calling, it just ends my call. Will replacing the screen fix it or is a more serious problem.

It sounds like you have other issues with the phone. If everything else works on the phone except the screen then you need a new screen.

Not only is this a great video; this is the future of advertising. I ordered my screen, torx and case tool from these guys, got it same week and repaired my phone under an hour. Fantastic. Like the video mentions, pay attention to the metal flange. I half re-assembled phone before I realized I forgot to add it back :)

If your device is SIM unlocked you can use it with any carrier. If it's not and you're a T-Mobile customer for at least 6 months, call them and request an unlock code. Tell them you're going over seas. They'll hook ya up.

you need the special case removal tool as well as the torx 6. i could not get the case off until i broke down and bought the case removal tool. excellent video.
