My hindu punjabi friends family recently returned from faisalabad, they originate from there, very upsetting for her grandfather as he was the only one to survive from his family in 1947- brought back bad memories but also the the few memories he has of his family- they had a great time there and were welcomed with open arms which is great to hear.
