My boyfriend went to the same school as me, but then he graduated last year and had to move out. So he lives about an hour away now. And I know that's not much to complain about, but I'm not complaining. I see him like once a month since neither of us can drive yet, but we make it work. Our 2 year will be in April. ^^
Sooooo this whole thing has been dead for like 2 weeks. Buuuut.
I had a girlfriend and towards the end of last year, right before our year 12 Formal, she broke up with me, I was freaking devastated. I didn't enjoy the Formal as much as I could have because of it, she looked amazing in her dress though. So long story short, she has a new boyfriend and he's been upsetting her a little... I shouldn't get involved should I? And if I have already. hypothetically, what should I do?
@GWYNZILLAAA 1st off, i hope your cold gets better! 2nd, a little advice would be awesome xD So, i've been liking my best friend for about a year now, and i've known him for about 10 years. We've always been super close and i'd love to be in a relationship with him. Thing is, he thinks of me as a little sister. Should i take the risk of ruining a 10 year friendship and ask him out? or just leave things how they are?
Well i had the same time with my girlfriend, she lived 6 hours south from where i live..and it worked out well, we only had the chance to see eachother during weekends and holidays, (because of work and school)..we talked every single day. We did this for 3 years, and by then we both got pretty sick by traveling 6 friggin hours, i mean it was great seeing her..but the train trips..jeez dont get me started :P. So last summer she moved over here, and we now bought an apartment together..so yeah.
@GWYNZILLAAA or anyone... I'm fixing to leave and go into boot camp for the U.S. Navy. Me and my girlfriend are more than ready to take on this next step in our lives, even though there will be times we don't see each other for months. I've never had distance as an issue before in a relationship. Any advice or anything really?
Being rejected and never being in a relationship myself, I still enjoyed video and the advice you gave. It's funny, I got a friend that asks me for relationship advice, even though he knows i've never been in one but i've helped him out a few times. Now if i could only help myself :P
@PlayerV5Player I knooooow :( I haven't seen you since... toyratt? oh my god lol is that really how long it's been? That's unacceptable :( gotta hang with you and pat soon!
I thought you completely vanished its been soo long and were glad to see youre back and as for relationships now today more and more people are being in long distance relationships and theyve usually last pretty long from what I've seen with all of us being in long distance relationships at some point one of us currently still in one and me (Dustin) recently moving closer to my girlfriend, nothings wrong with long distance if youre happy and can make it work the thats great.
I tend to shy away from long distance stuff. Like right now, I'm considering asking out someone that lives in Mississauga. So if you can manage a distance like 6 hours, I'm sure I can suck it up for a 25min car ride
@linkspeaks well make sure both of you really feel like it wouldn't be an issue :) It's not so hard if you're both on the same page about it. Good luck :)
My boyfriend does live around 10 minutes away from me but we are about 2 years apart, so I'm in high school and he is in college. This semester especially has been difficult for us to see each other because he has school 4 days a week with a long commute back and forth and work, and I have school all week, with band rehearsals and work and music stuff to do. It gets really hard sometimes when its many days apart, but we both know it won't change anything.
I started out in a long distance relationship with Veronica. I lived in Barrie and she lived in Mississauga, but now we live together in Toronto and it's great :)
:( my boy is in the navy and he is curerrently some where in the middle of the ocean.. i miss him i dont know if i could do this we barely started dating when he left... :(
i like ur way of thinkin girl and ur right bout long distance relationships and the reason why people say they dont work is cuz most likely they are the type of ppl who have to have the person there 24/7 up their ass all the time
My advice for relationships: Be aware, be honest and don't be stupid. If your not ready for a relationship, be aware that you aren't. I am still in love with a girl whose heart i broke a long time ago because i refused to wait till i was ready to date her. Be honest always, because getting caught in a lie can make a small problem huge. And don't be stupid, if you suspect something, or if your not being treated right, do something about it.
My friend is in cali because of his gf so they work you just need to be commited as FUUUUUUU and is it sad that i had more sex now being single then when i was in my two year relationship.
@mimei I know how you feel :( I'm used to being with someone who is a 15 minute drive from my house and we both had cars so we could see each other whenever we wanted to. Now it's not so easy but we both definitely feel like it's something that isn't worth not being in a relationship for.
I think you are spot on with your views here. I'll even say to you what I say to my close friends, you're awesome and deserve the best so don't settle for anyone that doesn't treat you right.
I agree i think it's good that you want to keep your personal life private. It's good to do that. As long as you're happy and you're happy with who you're with. It's your business. :)). I know a lot of people on youtube like to get into other peoples relationship business. I also agree about the long distance relationship thing you said.
this is great advice, hopefully i can use it if i work up the courage to ask out the guy i want... if i can choose... i've had a couple great choices lately. one being the singer of this really popular abbotsford band gsts
i got dumped last Wednesday for the first time in my life, i was an absolute wreck, nearly a week later things are finally starting to turn around, but i still love him, *sigh*

tbh i have trouble with distance :( maybe because i live alone, and have no family in japan..
when i get stressed or sad it's really hard to be alone
THAT SAID i do have the bestest boy ever! and we're only an hour apart.
so i shouldn't complain(^^;; just wish i was better at distance :'(
