Hey Homer I go to say this video rules it rocked the house. And also first class emirates is the best. Last year when I was coming to New YOrk I was in business class. That is a personal judgment call no? It's up to that person to decide if it is worthless or not because people will experience it differently. I agree with you, but it's a persons prerogative if they want to spend a small country's total economy on a ticket.

I'm flying with emirates in august to perth, WA 777-300ER to dubai 777-200LR to perth and 777-200LR back to Dubai and the A380 back to heathrow has anyone flown with them; are they good?

Generally they're good, but inconsistent. I've flown them enough to know that their service standards vary greatly. If you are flying J or better yet F then the chances are you will have a great journey, if Y class, then it will really depend. You are fortunate enough to be flying on the most modern equipment in their fleet so that should be something.

First is all about opulence and grandeur....basically the airlines way off showing off what they are capable of providing to the filthy rich. Business is more about comfort and convenience with a little opulence thrown in for good measure. Basically a watered down taste of First Class without all the finesse and glitz.

Hehe..I like your lyrics in principle. Though, I would have liked it better without the "filthy".  No, I am not rich myself, but i would not call rich people like this..most of them have worked hard for the money. And as to First, my limited experience says that you just get an even better service..the pampering factor is just a lot higher.

Haha.....that term 'filthy' isn't really to be interpreted as the person themselves being 'filthy' or 'unclean' in a degrading way.....it's more a term we use to accentuate the grossness of the term 'rich' itself'.

Yes you are right, basically F class is where the airline pulls out all the bells and whistles and enhances on the Business product with that much more glamor.

The first time with Emirates and from the video, I guess it is going to be a great flight. The only thing about it, it will be a 15 hours flight from Houston to Dubai! Kind of BORING.

Emirates will give you a hotel as well in Dubai if you had a stop for more 12 hours and more! I will definitely get home full of ENERGY! :D

I Like your videos...are you a skyward member and which one are you? And do you know how many miles you have to get to be upgraded from economy to first class? I'm on the blue level and I have 50,000 miles on my card.

Lastly, do you know what days the new A380 go to new york? I'm curious because I hate flying from Dubai to Los Angeles in the Boeing 777-200LR! I once booked a flight from New york to Dubai and I still went on the 777-200LR! (This was 2 months ago)

Hi, I dont think you can upgrade from Economy to First..you can only go one lvel higher. All other info you find on the Emirates website. And also check the Skywards mileage calculator for what you can do with your miles.
