You should ALWAYS use a min. of twice as much bungee as non elastic extensions..like rope and I can tell that he didn't use more than 2 lengths of 165ft cord actually didn't look more than 200 ft of cord! and he uses over 3000' of rope. So what does all of that mean? This guy had NO idea what he was doing! I can't believe he didn't get killed! that cord should have BROKE and the parachute wouldn't have been able to save him, he couldn't have deployed the chute with broken bungee trailing behind

No, when you bounce back up on a bungee, you have serveral tens of seconds to unstrap. Enough to set off a parachute, They can tell when he's gotten to the end of the rope because of the friction or pulling the rope makes against gravity. so :O this is legit.
