Bekah, try to relax your shoulders, get some biggers breaths and sing from down deep, it seems your a little tight in the upper areas. I hope you don't mind the comments, just love your singing but think you can be even better.

Very good, a couple of suggestions, get a "pop" screen and on the power areas of the song, back slightly away from the mike, that skill comes with practice. I usually keep the "peak" meters in my view so I can watch the balance.

Is that a AKG Precision 200 mic? They're pretty good. Rich sound. I got myself a 414 for under $1000 after customs.  I believe it was $624 out of Vegas before shipping. I could not have made a better purchase.

I've never really liked country and western sort of music (I hope this is C&W). In Australia its not very popular so most people don't have much exposure to it...

But I've come across heaps of YouTubers (presumably Americans) doing these kinds of songs and I must say I'm getting to like it!

btw...I have heard of Trisha Yearwood, but not this song. When you started singing, I thought it was Katie Melua...and she has a great voice.
