Ok this is what I've got. Make sure you have armor equip that makes your armor rating past 1 billion.Give your follower a weapon with 10000+. Piss him/her off to attack you with the weapon.This should make your Light Armor/ Heavy armor skill shoot straight up to 100.

Also, you can forge a sheild with over 1 billion defence and repeat the process to lvl up your defence to 100. Easy leveling up (as you make more Fortify restoration potions and increase the %, you lvl up your alchemy rapidly)

Just a heads up for you guys. You can wear a falmer helmet and a jade circlet(basically any circlet) which basically allows u with 5 enchanted things that raise ur alchemy...so in other words.... It goes past 30%. This guy in the video is wrong.

You can add more than 30% (I believe) if you use to different items and potions. If you have 2 different smithing potions, (and elixer and a philter) you should be able to stack the bonus.

Once you get your level in those categories up to 100, you can get your alchemy and smithing items up to 29%. With these items, your potions for enchanting goes to 32% and smithing up to 130%. Also, if you improve weapons before they are enchanted, you can skip the Arcane Smith perk. Just in case if you didn't want to put to many perks in smith.

Last but not least, Fire and Shock enchantments on a weapon result in greater dps than fire and frost.

Dark Brotherhood: Mourning Never comes, 2nd quest of Dark Brotherhood, Muiri's ring - Fortify Alchemy

Orc Stronghold: Forgemaster's fingers, quest to gain respect of orcs, but who cares about them so just keep the gloves and disenchant them - Fortify Smithing

@EvilMrWeasel You just need to keep an eye out in the stores, and hope for them in chests. Remember all gear/weapons are random, be it in the store or in the chest you come across. There is no specific locations to find gear, except for daedric artifacts and a few other weapons/armor through quests.

@aslemy There is no fortify enchantment, enchantment. Only way to make enchantment better is through the use of potions, and a high enchantment skill and perks in the tree.

Ynotthe1 you are the shit with the extra piece my enchantment potions jumped from my previous 32 percent last night, to 37 percent tonight. My smithing potions went from 130 percent last night to a whopping 147 percent tonight!! HOWEVER I still couldn't get my alchemy and smithing armour past 29 percent. I think 29 is the absolute highest. Hope someone proves me wrong though.

Not sure if you are aware but you can wear 5 pieces of gear to fortify alchemy. 2 pieces of headgear can be worn. A circlet and a falmer helmet, both can be enchanted to fortify alchemy. So with this you can further increase the % value towards potions/poisons. Don't know if it still works for any who may have downloaded any patches.

Daedric gaunlets are also 270

Daedric helmet is at 291

My bow is at 195 all without enchantments

Just so you know after I made my first set of alchemy armor and then my enchanting potions, my enchantment potions were at 32 percent not 30, my second alchemy armor and smithing armor in one like you did, were at 29 percent, not 28. in the end my enchantment potions were at 32 percent and my smithing potions were at 130 percent not 119. =)

ya just use a fortify restoration while wearing the smithiing/enchanting clothes to boost it out the rood. Drink a restoration potion > remove and put the items back on. > drink another > remove and put back on and it stacks over and over so that you can make potions that do 1000000 % increases but indeed breaks the game in doijng it that much

hmm theoretically there shouldnt be a limit to how strong u make ur weapon

for example, you max out alchemy right, then you make a potion that fortifies it. After consuming said potion, make another potion that fortifies alchemy, and you have a stronger potion. Keep doing this as much as desired, and at some point, you can make an outrageously potent blacksmithing potion, and then make an epic weapon.

i think others have done this before, just let me know if im wrong or anything

@Slodogk The problem with that is that there is no potion that fortifies alchemy, you have to make potions that fortify enchanting so you can create items with a high alchemy enchantment, thus boosting your ability to create potions (the cap for this is 29%). I've maxed out my 1-handed sword at about 500 base dmg (give or take a few single digits), and I think that makes the game unfair already, so the cap is fine in my opinion.
