Wtf, this is nowhere nearly as cool as the original. The bass is there, I want the melody to be the same as the bass and rock hard! But nooo.. Meh. -.-
You're my hero mate, thanks. When I listen to this music, I think about the moments I played the game with my dad when I was five years old. Good times ;)
this game is totally jizztastic . but why is epic "mega" games just too stupid to revive our favourite pc game in the same style and gameplay for the 360 ,ps3 and pc ? -__-
im just miss this game because the game would be today a big icon of jump n run like mario or sonic . =/ i think anyone are just pissed off that epic games doesnt make a real sequel ( the gba part sux/doesnt count and is not like the original gameplay and style) for this awesome franchise , right? =/
now I'm not saying this track isint better, but it's certainly up there with the original somewhere, but though one track that will forever be with me is the main menu theme from One Must fall 2097
The original verison of the Tubelectric levels (JJ1) were the hardest lvls due to those damned eyeball enemies, whom i called "suns" in the first game. Took me FOREVER to get them, mainly when you'd get like 6 of them swarming you. You'd move an inch and they'd get you >.< The moment I saw the eyeball enemies in JJ2 for the first time, i was like O_O!!! ssssshhhitt!
@Lorenzo2300 - Yeah I agree - this version is good - but the breakdown just over a minute into the original was the best bit - it appears just as I get past the first checkpoint on the first Tubelectric Level from JJ1 - I've actually played the level so much now I can reproduce my runs through it pretty much within a few seconds every time - I could probably do it blindfolded.
i have a request. can you put the song up on the second level of jazz jack rabbit 2. and you fight the big turtle with a spiked ball and he throws it at you. cheers x
big turtle with spiked ball?ah i remember him,he is called schwarzenguard, and he is on first episode of jazz 2 "formerly known as a prince",level 3 and not 2 ;D
dont think im a nerd i just play the game too much :3
Alongside "Diamondus," this is my favorite music from JJ2. It's got that sound, somewhat reminiscent of Latin freestyle music that was popular back in the mid-1980s - which, unsurprisingly, I also enjoy.
Jazz 2 soundtrack is so fukking fantastic!

Too bad the best part was taken out in this version. Still pretty cool, but not as epic as the one in the first Jazz Jackrabbit.

@BenjyT27 yeah, that's exactly what I was talking about! That bit made this song epic, this version sounds waaay to quiet in comparison.

This is Robert A. Allen's composition, and IMO, the music from the 1st Jazz is far better in every way. Though I still like Jazz 2 :)

You can tell it's made by Alexander Brandon, it sounds like his older tracker music, AND the old Unreal Beta music.

It also a LOT sound like what he did in Tyrian (which is another epic Epic game - lolbadpun) too. Ah, Tyrian and JJ2, what great games of back then.
