I have watched the whole movie: "Der Untergang" quite a few times. It is a good movie and I have watched it in German.because I understand that language pretty well but I don;t like the overplayed Hitler character.

And because I don't have a problem with Hitler too, I think there were much more evil people than him in history. Stalin for example. Compared to him Hitler is a nice caring guy.

The difference is amazing. Even ignoring the fact that they use different languages in their movies, Bruno Ganz comes off as a lot more believable compared to his Bunker counterpart.

Plus, the Downfall potrayal of Hitler is more consistent with historical facts, since Hitler was aware of his actual situation in spite of his rages and delusions.
