I feel bad because I left a comment after listening to her acapella version of His Eye Is On The Sparrow; however, since then Ive viewed NOTHING BUT consistently horrible live performances! By far, Keyshia is one of my favorite singers, but unless I can find a concrete LIVE performance, I will never attend a show an eventually she'll be added to the 'Milli Vanilli' pile.
If the music of the band is lower than normal you will tend to drop a few octaves. I think she is still in harmony with the original track. This is the point of LIVE singing. Taking them out of the studio and putting them on stage to see what they can do. I love KEYSHIA COLE and wouldn't have her sounding any different. She had no synchronizer. She's raw and she is very unique. Stop hatin and let her have her time. You aren't paying her so why have something to say. But we do need haters.
I couldn't enojoy it because she wasn't in control of her voice like she should've. It was okay but i would definitely love it with more voice control. 1:07 - 1:40 was my favorite because she felt more of the song and kept her voice strong and in control.

I sound better live than most artist. I wish I could jump up there and help her. She is obviously nervous (stage fright). The video is awesome, the one without an audience that made this song a hit. Come see me live in the city of Cleveland. Everybody knows the voice of Tena and I use to get a little scared when I was younger, but not anymore so much.

The credit that she deserves is having good songs, but who are you kidding? As for artists that actually sing well live and sing about something, try Chaka Khan, Rahsaan Patterson, India.Arie, Whitney Houston (before the drugs), Mariah Carey, Beyonce Knowles, Lalah Hathaway, Fantasia Barrino, I could go on and on and on. IF you really explore artists beyond the "mainstream performers" you will discover REAL SINGERS!

dude mariah lip-synchs half the time, and shes still just a young singer. its harder to sing live than in the studio and shes still adjusting. the only thing she has to do is control her breathing when she goes live. she'll get better in about an album or two. maybe in the nest couple years of singing live.

When people tell the truth, they are always classified as "haters". Keyshia Cole cannot sing. She screams and talks through her songs. I mean I like her as a person, but her singing is mediocre at best. But people, especially young people, who want someone to idolize, will choose anyone, even if they are talentless when it comes to singinig...I mean Keyshia isn't even a good entertainer. At least those who can't sing will entertain the audience with dancing or something...

I agree with kk00321, and KC puts her heart and soul into her music, so as far as I am concerned that is enough. I dunno about some of these videos but when she came to AZ she put on one of the best shows I have ever seen, she just gets you hyped up and you can tell she loves it and is passionate about it, at least she isnt like some of these bozos tryin to make a quick buck, she does it to the best of her ability and she will give you MUSIC
