  • holy shit, i may sound like an oblivious noob, but i had no idea.... i'll fight for the internet

  • @jonas3885865 Any help is awesome !

  • thats just sick gonna spread this amongst my friends on facebook

  • Thanx for this

cannot share this on Facebook as it says Piratebay in the blurb and gets blocked try it and see

  • @ganeshbelowradar Please, share on Facebook using (youtu.be) link ;)

  • Freedom of speech is also a democratic criteria and also in the constitutions of most european countries.

  • People r overly scared omg this will IRL mainly be used to stop people from filesharing movies and songs. Not surveillance, censorship (which is strictly forbidden in most european countries CONSTITUTIONS), or stopping whistle-blowers or any other kind of violation against freedom of speech. Some guy copying a movie and putting it on some website isn't using his freedom of speech. Filesharing doesn't affect the huge artists, only the poor guys running the video stores. They lose their jobs. :(

  • @pokke93 It doesn't matter how it may or may not be used - what matters is how it CAN be used.

    Think of it like this:

There's a known murderer at the door telling you he's a nice guy with good intentions and that he could, but most likely wouldn't kill you if you let him in.

Going with your logic, letting him in would be a good idea since, according to him, he probably won't kill you.

You're blatantly disregarding the risks in making such an ignorant decision.

  • @Aragashia Yes, it is an excellent point you're making. It is absolutely crucial that if laws and regulations that protect copyright material from being illegally spread (which is just and seems inevitable) takes effect, there must be strict regulations to what they can and can't do. Regarding ACTA, which is way thinner and much more vague than the SOPA and PIPA bills (like all regulations prepared at EU, because of the number of countries) it strictly says that no actions may override...

  • @Aragashia ... the laws of the country regarding freedom of speech, human rights, etc. The process will work in such a manner that the copyright owner/s will file a complaint against a website with enough proof to start an investigation. THEN an authority will examine the website and, eventually, take actions. There won't be some authority watching averything we do.

I think it is important these guys read the bills before they start scaring the shit out of people.

  • @pokke93 The thing is, copyright owners can ALREADY do just that. ACTA is far worse because it opens the doors to go beyond the current boundaries.

Gradual changes are far more dangerous than attempts at going straight from A to Z, because they are much less obvious and you probably won't pay attention until you're knee-deep in shit.

I think scaring the shit out of people is warranted when it comes to agreements like ACTA.

  • fav'd

  • Thank you! Now the only thing more I need is a huge wall around my house with both snipers and cameras watching me all the time and I will be very happy to kill myself... I dont want to hear any politician who agreed to this to ever speak about freedom of speech again.

  • lol i'm vegetarian...

  • This shit is horrible, worse than SOPA and PIPA put together.

  • @MrBlewjob indeed!

  • DONT FUCK WITH OUR INTERNET

  • anonymous= annoying attention whores

  • ACTA - A cat? A fucking evil cat that is!!

  • Let no goverment mess with our internett and if they do they know theyre gonna get it!

  • no1 fucks with my internet.

  • @NinouNetwork Thank you, but I already posted it on FB. I don't NEED this button, its just comfortable and I'm lazy. BUT: I'm used to copy an d paste URLs ;-)

  • @NinouNetwork Thank you for supporting me ;-))

  • @theatheobhv :)

  • WTF going on?? 100.000. people wanna rule on 7.000.000.000.000?!

  • @PazdelaPhilia SOPA,ACTA and PIPA :(

  • @PazdelaPhilia It's 7.000.000.000 :P

  • Already signed and being acted upon.

I've had many instances where I get a "not available in your country" on TV streams.

  • Big Brother is watching you.

  • Oh look. It's the Chinese government implemented onto the internet.

  • Oh man, that "any copyrighted info" thing can be absolutely brutal, even if you're not actually doing stuff like sharing files.

Ads. Especially ads by crappy companies like that one by made Evony. Random sprite of Age of Empires was loaded through my internet? Boom. Headshot. If you go downright paranoid about it, the mere fact that someone is doing something with the internet at all also means that IP is constantly flowing...so you could get burned for any reason under the sun...

  • piratebay is blocked on FB

  • @kyuubiflame If you share this via the 'youtu.be' link option, it seems to post on Facebook just fine...but it removes the first line mentioning The Pirate Bay entirely.

  • COOL!!! :)
