What an interview!!! The questions were weak, but he gave great insight into wrestling and I think he hit it right on the head. Some words of wisdom from The Living Legend...wrestling today is trashy, these guys are all cut from the same mold and there is too much story telling OUTSIDE of the ring rather then INSIDE, he is right about the product too its watered and dumbed down. Take note Vince. He has a lot of credibility and Larry is right on the money.

There were only two real problems with the interviewer here. One is that you can tell he's just reading questions off a piece of paper and two, none of them flowed together or were relevant to the previous question. I mean, you can also come up with new questions based on the answer the guy just gave, you know?

But, unfortunately for Larry, the territorial system is not coming back. All the top indy guys seem to have wrestled all the other top indy guys anyways; the feuds in indy wrestling are just way better than Orton-Cena or Orton-HHH.

Bret-VInce, on the other hand, is being built up very well right now; Vince McMahon, love him or hate him, is an excellent heel.

Larry turning on Bruno was the most shocking angle ever in my lifetime. I would disagree on the shea stadium part though (as a fan). Very few people ever saw that show. I think Larry's most memorable moment was the TV match with Bruno where he actually turned on him and busted him open. It was amazing far a 12 year old!

Well, I gotta say, after seeing this interview, I have a great deal more respect for Larry than I used to. I admit it. I was an nWo mark big time, and I got soooo tired of him whining and bitching. Yes, I knew it was an act, but you know how it is. I don't like Ray Leotta either, because he always plays assholes, and looks like one. In real life, he may be just as articulate and unlike his character as Larry. Thanks for posting.

I sat near Ray Leotta on a plane several years back. The guy wasn't an asshole at all, but he's definitely "quirky". It got to the point where everyone sitting near him was uncomfortable and not because he's a celebrity. He might of been high, I guess.

One thing I loved about watching Larry wrestle was when he would get all flustered and Pissy in the ring. It was awesome and a great act, and the people would go nuts watching him get all frustrated. Still, he reminds me a lot of Larry from Three's Company. He's like Larry's bad ass cousin or something.

He has a good point about wrestling being boring. John Cena is an obvious reason, but look at what WWE does to people with actual talent, like Chris Jericho. I've been a big fan of Jericho's since 1998. They took an entertaining personality who is always an outstanding performer and made him talk in monotone, wear a business suit and cut promos where he says the words "Mickey Rourke, Parasites and Hypocrites" repeatedly every time. It's like they're trying to make it bad on purpose.

Larry Zybysko was one of the greats. His feud with Nick Bockwinkel is legendary. He fueded with Tommy Rich, Rick Rude, Dusty Rhodes, Jake the Snake, Ron Garvin. He was great on the mic, and he could rile up a crowd like very few wrestlers.

I didn't ask the questions.... The camera guy did. He knew I was making a 2nd BYW dvd at the time, or at least considering doing so, and that's probably why he asked him for me. Nothing can be perfect, especially when it has to do with pro wrestling. But Larry is the living legend and having footage of him on my channel is an honor.
