Success.....there really is NO definition for it, because rarely do we know we have it, much less be able to define it in someone else....even the poorest among us in wealth or talent are often 'successful'. It takes very little, really, to be successful.

One thing I like about animals and those who appreciate drop-ins for the poor, is that the competition for status is minimal, and humanity is honest about it's limitations/hypocrisies in them. Most situations are stilted, brittle, and wasteful. I find it hard to be sane if 'success' means there's just prozac that gets close,...but not for human connection, which is really better than convenience in the long run.
the finger up the nose is so gross...and right by the biscuits too........it would be very funny you and i in the same room making videos....i'd sit there watching,throwing other ideas at you and talking farrrrrrr too much,while you were trying to work...it would be quite funny bobbie.

opening up is such a liberating thing..and every singer or writer hits that wall oof opening up and breaks through it eventually......give yourself time and dont beat yourself up...it gets liberating cause you stop worrying about what other people think,and you start taking all these risks with your voice and words..sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't,but suddenly you find yourself in new ground..you have a lovely voice and you can write.
Yeah and it pisses me off when a young punk makes it... then commits suicide because it's too hard or something. I've met many many brilliant musicians/writers/poets/artists that never "made it". Serendipity or something... its either meant to be or not. I turned 50 this year, I no longer give a shit about fame, fortune or someone stealing my work. opening up is such a liberating thing..and every singer or writer hits that wall oof opening up and breaks through it eventually......give yourself time and dont beat yourself up...it gets liberating cause you stop worrying about what other people think,and you start taking all these risks with your voice and words..sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't,but suddenly you find yourself in new ground..you have a lovely voice and you can write.

Yeah and it pisses me off when a young punk makes it... then commits suicide because it's too hard or something. I've met many many brilliant musicians/writers/poets/artists that never "made it". Serendipity or something... its either meant to be or not. I turned 50 this year, I no longer give a shit about fame, fortune or someone stealing my work. I do it for FUN because I LOVE it... fuck everything else. :-)
