I've never seen such incredibly clear videos! You and your camera are fantastic! And the sound is so good, too. I can tell you were close here, but being that close to the speakers doesn't seem to mess up your sound. Amazing. I am curious, though, about how narrow the picture is in this video. That's unusual. Any idea why that is?
My new camera is high-def and films in 16:9 aspect ratio, which makes for great wide screen filming but not as great viewing if you shoot vertically. I got into the habit of shooting vertically to get closer in to the subject and avoid dead space (ironically, the 16:9 aspect ratio now creates dead space! where shooting vertically eliminated it on my old camera). But shooting vertically still allows me to get closeup shots of Dave playing guitar.
Thanks for the nice compliment, kcdshg! And I will probably be shooting more videos horizontally in the future now that I know my new camera a little better! I always try to get shots of the whole band, but sometimes the lighting in the venue is not cooperative, so I focus on Dave and then end up shooting vertically. Still trying to break the habit.
Your videos are wonderful! And a closeup of David is NEVER a bad thing.

And even when I am able to shoot all of the guys, I still like seeing them closeup playing instruments hence the vertical.
