  • Oi, Beiber and the rest of you so-called singers/performers....try and come up with something as fucking awesome as this then. You won't even come anywhere near it,ever!! Long live Freddie. Long Live Queen. Long live their music!!

  • Queen's earliest songs were some of the best.

  • We should show this to everyone, everywhere!

  • Cutest voice ever.

  • Your march is going on Freddie.....

  • yeahhh ROCK PROGRESSIVE

  • super duper like this song!!! <3 <3 <3

  • The song is incredible overall, but the outro strikes me as particularly cool. You think the song is ending and then it happens.. I especially love the layered ascending vocal harmonies and how it leads right into the next song

  • @Rowdyrecords55 the same here, since the first time i listened to this masterpiece for the first time i thought the final seconds deserved more, especially the ascending layered vocals you mentioned.

  • Just listening to this song you can realize that Queen's been the best band ever...and Freddie the best singer and composer ever...isn't it?

  • why this song has to be that good ? T_T

  • @AZARTI5 Because that song is good, what a stupid question!!!

  • @nanachatqueentoutout

it was not directed asked question dumbass

  • @AZARTI5 Pff t'es conne toi grosse pute!

  • 11 People are Liars and they aren´t marching :/ :D

  • 11 people aren't marching... :( x

  • Why do Queen get criticized and panned so much by the music press?..... Cos no fucker else can touch them for their musical genius and originality!! Queen are massive, the press don't like it. Tough!!

  • My favourite Q song... off my favourite Q album!

  • Queen best song EVER...!!! GIGANTIC!!!

  • I like Bohemian Better. To me Flick of the Wrist is their best song imo

  • There are more than one Bohemian Rhapsody for real Queen fans and this song is just one of them :)

  • the ending is so epic

  • A great example of haunting surrealism. The Alice in Wonderland of its time in Rock music

  • i havnt bin born yt n i lawv queen!

  • ten Justin Bieber listeners

  • @QLiorK 10 losers allowed on YT without their carers permission!

  • @SneakyChannel hey guise im 2 and i liek totally luvvv old musicc liek queeen lolz :) :D :)

But seriously, those comments make me want to hold someone down and beat them.

  • I like how almost no one knows this song, yet it is this channel's top viewed because only hardcore Queen fans actually use this channel, and Queen fans listen to the good songs, not the popular ones. At a glance, you can see that the top videos are: This, The Wedding March (from Flash Gordon), Lily of the Valley, The mIllionaire Waltz, Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together), Death on Two Legs, White Queen (As it Began). All amazing, little-known stuff

  • i was playing this song and my ipod broke...i gues it was to awesome for that 300 dollar....i...pod -.- xD

  • Queenで一番好きな曲です♪

  • Absolute favorite Queen song.

  • Why is it not very famous this fuckin great song ? unfair world !!! this is one of the greatest song of the whole humanity history

  • @Threevihate If this song were famous, it wouldn't be "yours". I would love my family and friends to appreciate it as much as I do, but it's at least as gratifying that it will always mean more to me. :)

  • Well said. Yeah I'm 16 and I despise the majority of Contempory music. Kasabian is the only group I actualy like but even their no match for the music we had in 50's - early 90's. Rock needs to be rock, not this flimsy indie/ new wave crap we have nower days. And what ever happend to soul and jazz for that matter? Now it's all just Untalented prats who shout "yeah" and make suggestive hand gestures whilst wearing a cap the wrong way round and sunglasses indoors to a computer generated racket .

  • You say Lady Gaga, I say Led Zeppelin

You say Miley Cyrus, I say Metallica

You say Owl city, I say Red Hot

You say Jonas Brothers, I say The Iron Maiden

You say Justin Bieber, i say Queen

You say Taylor Swift, i say Guns & Roses

You say katy parry,i say Pink Floyd

95% of teens these days listen to the same crappy pop songs over and over. if your one of the 5% left who still listen to real music, thumbs up and copy it . DONT LET SPIRITS OF ROCK&ROLL DIE

  • @Soffreddie you say all that I say stfu.

  • @Soffreddie how music changes through the years ;)

  • @Soffreddie you're just as bad for not including the beatles -_-

  • Opus magnum !!!

  • @zibimark

    Definitely!

  • Y is this not a single?

  • 2:24 to 3:01 sounds like the beatles, but thats a good thing... ad i think queen are a all round better band than the beatles :D

  • @JordanEvans3794.... I know you said that that's a good thing, but that's only if you actually Like them. Queen is so far superior to the B's that it does sound a little insulting.

Just b/c you love Queen doesn't mean you feel the same ab the B's, despite wh their fans might think.....not by a long shot! Personally, I think they're the most over-rated group ever, and Queen, the most under-rated.

Queen is absolutely out-of-this-world spectacular!! Just listen to this magnificence! Pure Genius!!

  • @FREDDIEFREAK9 yeah man i understand, ive been listening to queen all my life... my dad went to see them at wembley he was lucky enough to get a ticket and he was right at the front... i think brian may is the most underrate guitarist ever :( i mean i look for stuff in bands i like bands which can perform better live than in the studio... so i like queen and acdc and iron maiden... queens older stuff is much more nicer to listen to than the 80s stuff how didnt it make the greatest hits album ??

  • @JordanEvans3794.....They have too many gems to fit on a Greatest Hits album!

Queen was made for the stage. Freddie was born to be a performer......the best there ever was or will be!

  • assolutamente fantastica. incredibile. freddie era un genio. e ....che voce....

  • Es la neta!!!

  • This song is just so incredible...but I do need to ask, am I the only person who thinks 5:41 to 6:05 sounds A LOT like the ending of Bo Rhap? I've never seen anyone else point it out, but I've always thought it's pretty cool that they sound so alike there. :D

  • Awesome song....

  • Depression is being a guy considering THIS real music, and living in the age of Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. I've been listening Queen since I was 5 yo, and I'll keep on loving them till my last day.

  • THE ALL TIME GREATEST BAND, IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!

  • 9 are being sodomizated by the Black Queen

  • SUCK MY DICK ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE. IM SURE THEY NEVER HEAR THIS BEFORE. THIS IS THE BEST SONG EVER!!

  • @legacyband When I saw their greatest singers list and saw McCartney and Lennon (not that they're bad) above Freddie I was like "well... there goes their credibility"

  • @legacyband They also put Kurt Cobain (#11) higher in the greatest guitarists list than Brian May (#39) Carlos Santana (#15) and David Gilmour (#82). I'm sorry, but Cobain was ok, but I do not see him as the eleventh greatest guitarist of all time.

  • @cartmammainia Yep, Cobain is overrated as a guitarist and singer.

  • 3:00 - 4:10 are so amazing.

You gotta love the barbershop style vocals...

    its genius.

  • absolutely classic. love it when it gets to 4.20. up tempo. so many levels of this song.

  • WtH is this 'The March Of The Black Queen' ! Pure Genius ! in one word MASTERPIECE

  • Also, it's funny how Rolling Stone magazine can call a magnum opus like this "horrendous", and then go and nominate an exponentially less complex song, Bob Dylan's "Like A Rolling Stone", as the best song in history- and also put his voice higher than Freddie Mercury's...

  • @neilsil Seriously? There's nothing more I can say except that's ridiculously asinine!

  • @cammeoh I have to agree wirh you. Bob Dylan has a weird voice and likely was under the influence of drugs. Queen were not under the influence when these songs were recorded. And Freddie has an incredible vocal range.

  • @neilsil Yeah RS goes nuts over Dylan and a lot of other artists that get way too much credit. They ignore masterpieces like this.

  • What a masterpiece, it's only Freddie Mercury that could write these kind of songs! The music today has much to learn from you Freddie, R.I.P!!

  • Freddie Mercury is a God of music !!!

  • @zibimark no, he is THE God of music!

  • so absurdly sublime i half wish he stayed a poor art student writing these fanciful epics pushing every sensory button possible in a human body:P

  • God, it's perfect!

There is only one things that is not good in this song: there is an end!

  • this is my favorite song on the album but i got dissapointed when i found out the lyrics contain satanic messages but with no doubt i love the the piano at 1:17, the melodies at 0:51, the marching drums at 0:44 and 1:38, the solo at 2:10 and 1:38, the bells at 2:37 and the amazing bass at 4:13 musically it got me hooked

  • @alicecooper19isback hahaha are you serious, satanic messages?..well if freddie was satan I'd still worship him to death

  • @alicecooper19isback Freddie is great at making songs that cannot be explained. I always picture the Black Queen as a very strict and arrogant woman who is the leader of something. She seems to have total control over her lovers. It gives me a feeling of an evil power, but it's a good feeling. The Queen II album was very black and white in color. I always picture the Black Queen and the White Queen as opposing forces. Not enemies, but just different walks of life. I never get tired of this song.

  • @alicecooper19isback

"Satanic messages"? If there are any, I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be under the Black Queen's perspective, not Freddie's.

  • Always has been, always will be my favorite Queen tune ... ever. Period.

  • What an amazing piece of sheer chaotic creativity.

  • first time hearing this song, i went to my queen heaven. this is without a doubt Queen's best song. currently on my itunes, it has 678 plays, over 400 more plays that my next song!

and 9 people are fucking retards

  • with Borap, This is the only song whick shocked me in my life.

  • Now compare any of the latest Grammy & Ivor Novello award winners of 2000s to THIS and tell me we haven't regressed BADLY as a culture?

  • the fact that something like this was inside the brain of a person (freddie mercury)... brings me goosebumps!

  • @ficolossale I got so many ideas for songs but I have no idea how Freddie explained this to the others.

  • @ficolossale That's right. Even Robbie Williams was wondering how the hell Freddie came up with the lyrics to Bohemian Rhapsody! Some poster was arguing with me the other week that Queen weren't lyrically great at all. I guess they don't know the classic Queen songs because songs like this one are beyond comprehension. It's art!

  • @solarDeviant oh they were great with lyrics although I read somewhere Freddie said our instruments were better than our lyrics. Have a nice day!!

  • @rekoonsghjkl Yeah he said their melodies were superior to their lyrics, actually. Have a great day too, nice meeting you :)

  • 2:24 - 3:00

    Lalalalalala...la laaa...la laa

    That part drives crazy (:

  • Something about this track as a Queen fan since 1975, I've heard most of what they've done. It is one of the most creepy songs I've ever heard, something subliminal which breaks me out into goosepimples. 'Sympathy for the Devil' by the Stones has a similar effect.

  • There was always so much going on in this work my mind could not hear it all.

  • Best song by Queen by far

  • Forget your singalongs and your lullabies

Surrender to the city of the fireflies

Dance with the devil in beat with the band

To hell with all you hand-in-hand

But now is the time to be gone - forever

  • But even to the end of his life

    He'll bring a little love

  • this song an My Fairy King are most beautyful Queen Songs on my opinion...

  • @sebasco18 plus Nevermore :)

  • @agata521 thumbs up for that

  • In middle-school, as my classmates drooled over Peter Frampton and the Bay City Rollers, me and Brian were in the choir-room during lunch-hour spinning Queen discs. Queen II especially confused them, they just didn't get it, so they'd waltz around the risers and make fun of us for liking it. Losers. I've no regrets. My early (and continuing) love of Queen inspired personal professional musical pursuits awa a lifelong love of music of all kinds. Thanx, guys.

  • The Song, period.

  • It's seriously the best song i've ever heard! It's so complicated and makes me feel so many different emotions...

  • I was watching a documentary about Bohemian Rhapsody and well it was Brian showing each part of the song from the piano track to the drums.... I would love to see a documentary on this song. Would be great.

  • This is Bohemian Rhapsody for the real Queen Fans

  • @itsbridgetlogann Bohemian Rhapsody makes people think theyre real queen fans cause they know all the lyrics.... who doesnt!? lol

  • @itsbridgetlogann undoubtedly, defines all the various styles of queen, opera, hard rock, soft ballad, and epic eerieness :D

  • @itsbridgetlogann damn right ! the alternative Queen,

  • @itsbridgetlogann RIGHT! I'd always thought!

  • My favorite song from Queen. Absolutely underrated. Absolutely amazing!

  • Thumbs up to every comment below :)

  • Still one of the best songs of all time!

  • Ahhh.... Roger's mini-solo is orgasmic!

  • Light years ahead of its time and when you realise just how stone age the gear was it was recorded with it makes it even more GENIUS :)

  • These guys were in a class of their own. Incredible talent and courage.

  • i would die for this song!!!

  • MOTB is different to BR but it is an indication of the absolute ground breaking amazing talent of what has to be one of the worlds best bands ever......

  • Masterpiece. It's funny how all the bands that have been asked to play a cover of Queen don't feel able to do it hahahaha

  • @Katlinke Well it's like me I keep think about doing a show with me singing songs by lots of different people and well I don't know what it is but there are songs which require much higher notes than Queen songs and which are maybe considered harder to sing but yet I feel I'm not going to do a Queen song because I would be nowhere near Freddie. Freddie was a God who walked as man.

  • .....Do you mean, it do you mean, it do you mean it.

  • Rock music in its lyrics often talks ahead of the time about what's going on in the country.

  • Happy late birthday, Freddie :)!

  • Respond to this video... better than bo rap thats blasphemy

  • Happy belated birthday freddie you are the best!!!!!!!!

  • Hey Freddie, hope you're having an excellent birthday up there! We still love you!

  • Happy birthday Freddie !

  • We still love you :)

  • So if the Black Queen sounds racist, does MCR's Black Parade sound like the million man march? For those who are patient enough, they will understand once they see the names of the other tracks that there is a theme and nobody is trying to be rude. Besides, Freddie was born in Zanzabar (I believe it was), South Africa.

  • @AlexaDeLarge i thought queen would be left-wing or in the middle

  • @TobiasSueess It's about ants. Not race

  • no one can dislike this...no one can dislike queen...

  • this is an epic song, but if they played this on the radio do you think people would get annoyed as the name sounds a tad bit racist, anyhow rant over great song

  • @55022RSG Only the idiots who perceive every little thing as racism. Besides, they had a song called "White Queen" on the same album so, yeah.

  • From 0:38 to 0:44 it kind of souds a bit like Death on two legs =D.

The March Of The Black Queen and The Prophet´s song are by far one of Queen´s best song, they should be more known, they deserve it, they are as great as Boh Rhap...

  • the piano part at 2:45 is so great... but you got to have a fast left hand :)

  • How nice to see so many Queen fans over here. This band is, and will always be, my absolute favorite. Shame I couldn´t enjoy Freddie alive as he died when I was 11. Would´ve loved to see one show live. I started liking them when I was 10.

  • Why haven't they made this album into a stage musical???

This Album is better than "A Night at the Opera".

  • Best queen song ever!

  • Genius. A great example of Freddie toying with unusual song structures, unusual time signatures and unconventional modulations, which gave birth to Bohemian Rhapsody soon after...

  • awesome, the besto queen song ever

  • This is definetly in my top 5 Queen songs ever :)

  • still an awsome tune... underated by all standards

  • This is my favourite Queen song!

  • GOD this song sucks hard... The only part I really like is 0:00-6:33

  • @PicKPiT

    I agree with you.

  • Best progessive song ever

  • What an amazing great, intelectual, wonderfull, 5 millione stars, piece of musical art!

  • In my opinion too.I think The Rhapsody a little bit boring...

  • @BombCherry46 that's because you've heard it so many times

  • @jgmartino ...well...this is true...:)

  • @BombCherry46

Same thing happened to me. Whenever I listen to it now I always end up skipping ahead to the rock part.

  • A little bit of Love & joy xxxxxxxx

  • Much better than Bohemian Rhapsody!

  • Opus Magnum Queen!!!!

  • One of the best of Queen!!! The harmony is amazing!!!

  • Just as good as Bohemian Rhapsody

  • Omg this is almost as good as "Bohemian Rhapsody"!

  • So creative it blows my mind!

This is a million times better than bohemian rhapsody, it's a masterpiece that sides along the greats!

  • uncountable little boners all over my skin. THE masterpiece, amen.

  • Well this is just perfect! I was lucky to hear this on the radio the other day but the only disappointment was at the end the radio DJ didn't say anything about it. Hedidn't say well that's one of Queen's most underrated songs.
