Thing about those shows is they're out there to look for a specific category. There is a selection before you even get to perform infront of the judges, yet for some reason the jokers seem to make it past that point (for tv ratings).

You have loads of potential, your voice while not harmonically perfect (nobody's is they just have better paid producers in a studio) is really good.

Songs are really well written, have catchy choruses and actually are about something.
