@sbrandiz Seriously? 1:30-2:51 and 3:50-5:24 are the highlights of the song for me. The sound of hushed vocals struggling against an impenetrable wall of noise creates the tension that make shoegazing so interesting to me.

this sounds pretty much nothing like slowdive. I'm not real familiar with MBV, so i couldn't say there. They do have a wall of sound style. This is the first track I've listened to, and I'm not sure I'm real into it.

yeah, they sound vaguely like a band that, 17 years ago, sold pretty much no records and, today, is mostly even more unknown than they were then, what sell-outs.

Look, I LOVED Slowdive. They opened for Ride at the best show I ever attended, but this isn't ripping off Slowdive. Lot's of bands have done the big ambient wave of distorted guitars and this is way more abrasive than Slowdive ever was.
