  • that is a gorgeous garden! I want you to come to my house and start my garden for me.

  • @gelflingfaysuzanne -- Ha ha. I HATE to plant, but I love to weed. Once I get past planting season, I'm good.

  • How'd you keep the bugs off of the spinach?

  • nasturshums =D

  • WOW!!! I make pesto with spinach leaves instead of basil and love it that way better than with basil leaves. My family can't get enough spinach. Lovely broccoli! Wow that's alot of growth in 2 days! I'm trying to grow broccoli right now in self-watering containers.

  • What a yummy looking garden and such beautiful little helpers! Wow you really had some renegade spinach popping up everywhere..I hope my garden turns out better this coming spring..got too hot last summer plus we had bouts of heavy rain so not a good crop here last yr.

  • Thank you for the nice comment. I actually planted that renegade spinach everywhere. : ) That's the classic gardner's hope, isn't it: Next year. I am planning on doing a more traditional (bigger) garden behind our paddock . . . and I'd really like a high tunnel or hoop house before next winter. We'll see. Everything *seems* possible in January I've found. The garden catalogs are being poured over nightly. ha ha

  • You're an inspiration! I loved your tip on the mulch hay for your beautiful chicken run and coop under the pine trees. Your humor, practicality and "deep" yet simple tips remind me a lot of webcajun (cajun gardener) here on youtube.

Hello from Minnesota! Chemtrails galore, terrible spray day today.

  • Well that just made my whole month!! Thank you. : ) I am going to have to check out webcajun.

  • A gorgeous garden & 2 gorgeous garden angels. (The chicken is cool too).

  • Thank you! . I have a "girly girl" and a "farm girl" as you can probably tell.

  • Very nice garden, cute kids

  • Thanks -- I'm hoping they develop an affinity for weeding as well as picking. : )
