@Savio, I am also Catholic and I agree with you whole hearted! we should respect all religions. It is humans who have separated the One god. If anyone comments bad about other gods, he ultimately says bad about the ow god because these are all different forms of god and god is one

I am a catholic myself, but I wasn't taught to demean other religions.

I grew up in mumbai, so I grew up in a secular environment.

I beleive in Jesus , but i also respect other religions. They say ,'Faith can move mountains.' People have faith in Ganeshji.

wow, what a find. totally brought back memories from Ganesh Chaturthi at home throughout our childhood. we'd play this after the mantrapushpanjali while everyone was being served panchamrut and prasad. blessed is her voice and blessed are those whose days can be touched by these songs. indeed Lata bai is kokil kanthi and mother Saraswati resides within her throat.

I born and brought up in Santacruz well, I belonged to poor family and Scheducled caste ..so I studied in Vakola Municipal high school , Santacruz but after securing high percentage in 7th std, I managed to get into big school i.e Parle Tilak Vidyalaya(PTV) Marathi Medium in 8th std...And by looking at intlliegent and cultured students from PTV, I shaped my carrer and today I am in U.S. with M.S. degree and good IT job and now planning to do business....God is Great..

I was brought up in Andheri and studied in Parle College. Every morning I would wake very early in the morning to study in late 1990s and would study with this beautiful songs as background coming from a nearby temple. Brings back wonderful memories....
