THE SIMPLE FACTS: England were at home and playing against a team that had already qualified. They only needed a draw to get to Euro 2008 but as usual when it really matters in the pressure games England fail to do it. For example, Germany have reached 11 major finals and Italy have reached 8 but England have just reached the one final in 1966!! That says it all doesn't it? As i've already pointed out, we have world class players (such as Gerrard and Rooney), we've never said that we r a world class team far from it, but with a decent manager why shouldnt we expect to be a world class team (Winning world cups etc) with our world class players. The USA will never beat England in a match that matters, you best players plays for Fulham!
