  • Not to be a stickler, but "aging backwards" is not the theme to this movie, aging backwards is part of the plot. The theme is the overall message or conflict within the story. If only these kids took an Lit. class...

  • Woops, it is obvious misspelling that was a matter of negligence, not stupidity. But I'm sure it didn't help my case.

    Anyways, he said, "The overlying theme of him aging backwards." The plot delivers on the theme, but is not itself a theme. The same way "Simba is a talking lion" was not the theme to The Lion King.
