Ive been around alot of police K-9s and i can almost promise you this was a well trained dog. The only thing is that the dog was trained way to much using the bite suit (big heavy padded suit). The suit has a common oder and the dog was wating to see and smell the suit. Since it didnt see or smell the suit, he didnt bite. Its like studying all the wrong material for a test lol.
I think that dog just lost his job... lazy would not be the word I would use! Playing with the culprit was more like it! Ouch for his partner. Blessings...E n' D!
Thats what happens when a dog is looking for the bite sleeve as they are taught in training. Hidden sleeve is very important for this very reason. Maybe the batteries in his " training for dummies" mid evil shock collar was dead... That must have been frustrating and embarrassing... wait till he gets back to the station!!
