  • Nice to hear you playing some Satch!

  • is it just me or does line 6 spiders sound thin and so digital?damn roland cube and peavy vypyrs are much better

  • Did you upgrade to the Peavey Vypyr yet? I hope you did this amp blows ass, way to good of player to be playing this shit amp.

  • @DimebagDarrellCFH13 No, I'm going to college so i figured a new amp would just sit at my house for years neways...ill make sure to upgrade when i have my degree n a job tho..

  • @vaialation1232 I prefer this amp over the Vyper Vyper is only good for heavy metal and has no song/artist presets and less user presets. aloth no offence to people with Vypers they are still good amps.

  • this amp have presets of nirvana or pearl jam??

  • Nice demo of the amp. Nice playing too!

  • dude what was the name of the song you played at 7:52??

  • LITTLE WING FTW. respect lol. love the amp

  • How can you get the Cliffs of Dover preset? I dont have it, sorry for being noob. :P

  • @Spliffor I don't know how to get it cause it came with the amp...but there is probably a Line 6 website that may have the gain, mid, bass, treble setting for their presets if you google it

  • Cool

  • sounds really, really nice! good amp

  • Are you playing a Fender? sounds like single coil pick up's.

  • which amp is better this or Fender RocPro-700?

  • The one YOU like the sound of best...

  • line 6 is better

  • u should of used the blues setting on little wing

  • first thing he played sounded like little wing

  • thats because it is

  • esta de hueva tu video we

  • anyone has a good place to get the "backing sounds" where i could plug my ipod into the amp and play some background music while i play? thanks!

  • Get songs made for Frets on Fire, you can use Audacity to remove the lead (Or entire, depends on song) guitar track.

  • i bought this amp at guitar center for $229. i am satisfied with it for just messing around at home. it has the potential to get VERY LOUD and make my girlfriend mad. it's so funny. it's a pretty solid amp with a lot of features.

  • You demo the clean channel for too long

  • is this a good amp cuz i might buy one

  • this is the same amp i use.. but all the songs ive recoreded i had the channel on (riggs insane)

  • nice vid, i just got this amp for $150 off amazon, i got it cheap because a coupon i had, and this amp is kickass

  • you should of got on gutar center they sell it cheaper the price

  • no at guitar center its $229

  • no onlne they got real cheap prices

  • nah dude, its $229 online too, so i was happy with getting it off amazon, only $150 well $165 plus shipping, so it was a steal

  • how does this compare to a peavey vypyr 30?

  • I have this amp and I don't listen to much metal. This amp is good for all kinds of music, not just metal.

  • They're proving that this amp isn't just for metal... That it can handle a lot.

  • This is the amp I'm getting. Amazon for $200 is an amazing deal for something this good of quality.

  • in guitar center is at $229

  • its £189 on gear4music brand new one (Y)

  • quit complaining and ranting about the price, its 300$ brand new online, its settled o_O lol.

  • Does it have a built in pod?

  • a pod is basicaly this amp with out the speaker it has every thing the pod has, you can use the fvb pedal board on it or any other regular pedal i ahd a pod 2.0 before i had my spider 75 and i found with the pod you spend more time experamenting trying to get the tone rite then actuly playing wich i found crap, with the pressets on the spider 75 its easy to find the tone you want real quick.

  • $200 dont you meen $500 lol fool

  • £200 / $500. probably. :P

  • got mine for 220 at GC about a year ago. but that was also with some negotiation with the tech that sold it to me. but i believe retail now is 269.00

  • i got mine for 175 off ebay the other week :D

  • 266

  • its about $420-470 USD, depends on the store pretty much.

  • the hendrix sounds awesome on this amp.brilliant playing as always by vaialation.

  • Your playing is great but unfortunately your tone, because of the Spider, as is well documented, sucks major ass...

Anyone who thinks that because they sell lots of them, it makes them good, should thinlk again.

  • what amp do you have then?

  • Currently, a Vox AC-4.

Don't get all upset because I made comments on the Line 6. It is a terrible amp.

  • ha ha ha is that 1 of those tiny little funny looking white things looks like a microwave.??

  • An amp doesn't have to be big, or look like a spaceship for it to sound good. The Vox is a great amp. I have the head and cab, so it's a bit less like a microwave than the combo. Regardless, tonally, it wipes the floor with a Line 6.

Prior to that amp, I've owned the following:

    Vox AC15

    Laney VC15

    Fender Pro Junior

    Blackheart Little Giant

So I know good tone. How an amp looks is irrelevant.

  • mate dont make me laff if you tryed to play some of the stuff vaialation plays with that little microwave it would sound like sombody rapeing a bag of broken glass.

  • To know that I would have to have raped broken glass, but I was too busy playing guitar.

Granted the Vox doesn't do teh br00talZ, but it's not made for that. In any case, the sounds are way more satisfying and consistent, whereas every Line 6 Spider is just a crap practice amp that only goes up in price and wattage. The guy playing is a great guitarist, but would be better served by an amp that makes the most of his skill. Not a toy like the Spider.

  • you rite the guy playing is a good player so considering how good he is and owning a les paul and a ibanez jem i dont think he whent in the guitar store asking for a crap practice amp do you? like he said its not the best amp in the world but its the most versatile amp out there for the price. much more versatile than your rabbit hutch.

  • Therein lies the problem. Your amp is more crucial to your tone than your guitar, and a lot of people with more brains than sense who fall for the sales pitchews in a guitar store will end up playing $2,000 guitars through $200 amps. And just so we're straight, the AC4 is far more versatile than the Spider. The Spider does nothing well. RE: Practice amps, there is nothing different between a 15 and 100w Spider except wattage so it is in fact an oversized crap practice amp.

  • As well as this, if the guy wanted a modelling amp, the Roland Cube would have been a far superior choice, as would the:

    Vox Valvetronix

    Line 6 Flextone (used)

And, if it was a recent (within the last year) purchase, a Peavey Vypyr.

Just wondering Fippy, do you play? If so what do you use?

  • yes i do i own a PRS custom a jackson pro series dk2m and 2 esp guitars, just out of intrest what do you play?

  • What ESPs are they? Or was the PRS and Jackson the only two guitars you could make up on the spot?

Currently, I'm playing a Strat, an LTD Hybrid 300, and a Taylor Big Baby.

Guitars aren't what I was concerned about, I'm concerned about what amp you use. And no, I do mean $200, you'd be a fool to pay any more than $200 for a Spider.

  • you obviously dont realy play any guitar do you? $200 for a new line 6 spider 3 75watt ha ha ha loser, go and play your tennis racket hooked up to your rabbit hutch and make noises like somebodys rapeing a bag of broken glass. i win you lose.

  • I never said new, did I? There's now way I'd buy a pile of shit like that new. If I had $500 to spend, I would get a better amp than a Spider. Exactly which one of my guitars is a "tennis racket"? You're obviously just some little kid if you can't come up with any better arguments than what you have done. You still haven't told me what amp you have. Is that because it's a pile of crap like the Spider? You actually don't win.

  • you never said second hand niether ha ha ha silly boy, i have a marshal jcm 2000 dsl. and i have the line6 75. whers your you tube guitar videos then?go and clean the rabbit shit out your crap vox rabbit hutch.

  • Where are yours?

  • wheres my what??

  • What guitar were you using

  • ibanez jem

  • R YOU BLIND

  • electric gypsy,

  • Nice man, my Spider III 75 comes in the mail thursday. I really can't wait.

    Good job on the guitar!

  • whats the second to last backtracking

  • buyin mine im 30 minutes!!

  • I bought this amp when they first came out last year and this amp is cool as shit,go to there website and you can print out all the settings in there order something they really dont make clear in the book that comes with the amp, everything u need to know about this amp is on there website, check it out youll be glad u did,,ROCK ON!

  • im buying mine on monday!! i cant wait! XD

  • i bought this amp yesterday!!!

  • Hey bro i heard you say somthing about the TEXAS FLOOD Prest or somthing and i can get it on the line 6 web site. ? what does that mean can i put more presets on my amp i have the 150. and also weere are ur baacking tracks coming from bro . let me now . haha its the summer and ima be bord bro!

  • how do you turn the presets off when you got em on

  • piss about on your settings

  • yeah, just turn any knob and your making your own settings

  • I also feel this amp is best suited for nu-metal or heavy metal period. If you are looking for a new amp like you said you are, I'd still keep this one for practice and get a real clean half with a digital processor. To get another amp this size is just waste. As far as people saying this thing sounds digital that just comes with almost anything solid state and I love a digital sound personally. I think it all in what sound you like and what you play.

  • I have this amo and I got mine for a $230 used, but I can tell the people hardly used it so that wasn't a bad deal. The thing I noticed is the reason the clean channel is not is the is because this is a real bassy sounding amp. It is hard to get a crisp high end bright sound without all that bas. I think alot of what really determines your your sound with the amp are the pickups you use on your guitar. I use a Jackson js30rr with sd sh-6 pickups in mine and the high end sound makes a differents.

  • the foot swicth is included?

  • 75W pwns 30W on a $100 difference

  • wow. i thought you were using something big. didnt sound like a 75w and i assumed you were using some fancy pedal. i agree with you about the clean though, but im not sure if its actually the amp. those vai models are made for a specific sound. its an amazing guitar just not a versatile as youd want it. i felt the same way when i was playing an ibanez. keep jammin bro youre awesome!

  • so could you give me a list of all the songs you played.

    I think there awesome.

    Superb video by the way.

  • Here's a few:

    Little Wing- Jimi Hendrix

    Electric Gypsy- Andy Timmons

Circles- Joe Satriani (along with some other satch stuff i think)

  • ok i have a spider 3 hd150 head and cab, have u ever had problems with the amp resetting itself, mine does, dude at repair shop said prolly software chip problem/ jw

  • does it seem to big for a bed room??

  • the amp? no it fits under my computer desk...

  • Those line6 are incredible for their size i bought the 15w just have something small I could casually play on and holy shit that also kicks ass.

  • i have the same amp and i dont want other

  • i have that amp, sooo worth the money.

  • I love your playing...it's great to listen to and the amp sounds fantastic. It would be nice to see you playing though instead of looking at the amp.

  • i hate line sixes

    but ur good

  • I am getting this amp to......

Your playing sounds great btw....See you at GMC

  • thanks

  • is there a difference between the 30w and 75w???

  • the 75 W has 250 artist presets and 150 song presets, the 30 W doesnt

  • @Dethwalka Yeah the fun starts from 75 W:P

  • nice little wing cover there man

  • the clean isn't good on it cause your not playing it loud enough

  • Yeahhh Satch!! =P

  • I have this amp too! Love your videos

  • hell yeah bro little wing!!!

  • what are the settings you used for little wing

  • texas flood preset

  • When you plug your mp3 player in and play with your guitar toghether...AND you are recording by using the POD output-jack, is there the sound from the mp3 player on the record too? I hope you got my question, sry for my lame english^^

  • not sure, sorry...but you can just add in the track with a software program im sure

  • Oh you re not sure too=(...yes i know, but good software is expensive, and freeware programms i tried are crap. Does anybody know a good FREEWARE recording programm? Please help.

    Stay tuned

  • audacity is brilliant :P if u use it properly

  • are you able to record more than 3 soundtracks and mix them together with audacity? thank you for your answer!

  • well yes i curently use a samson USB C01U mic and a USB guitar and a shure dynamic mic in the mic port:P. records 3 tracks at once :P if u set it up right

  • Is the 75W loud enough to gig with?

  • yes :P its stupidly loud for a 75 watt

  • im gettin this today or tommorow

    cant wait

  • Hows the amp treatin' ya?

  • awesome amp...in mondey i will have 150 watts this one

  • nice playing

i'm gonna get it from the store for 300

  • awesome playing

  • nvm, mine is only 30 watts

  • can someone with this exact amp contact me? i'd have a few questions about it.

  • i have this exact amp

  • lol if its not to late i have this exact amp xD

  • just wanted to know if it works fine, without problems? and how is it with the sound? does it sound natural, or its kinda "digital" ?

  • it works great ! I've had it for a month now and i've only gone through about 10 of the 400+ preset tones. As for the sound. It has a very clean tone and not at all digital. And what i like about it is palm muting with it. gives a lotta emphasis to it

  • Very digital, especially for overdrive.

  • amp works great, some of the presets sound digital or cheesy because they have unusable effects...but for $300 i don't think there is a better option out there sound wise and versatility wise

  • what is tht last song tht last ages and the setting i wanna larn this plz

  • yea im looking into getting this exact amp but i wanted to know if i could get a lamb of god distortion on it cause thats mostly what i play

  • probably, 75 watt probably sounds better at bedroom levels and higher wattage maybe at loud volumes...however the 75 is plenty loud so thats not really a problem...i say 75 is all thats necessary

  • cool but will it sound good at high levels?

and would it be loud enough for drums?

  • can you show me,how to meke setings like in seek and destroy sound, please??

  • wow 75 wt. i just wanna get a 50 wat haha

  • there is no 50 watt. It goes like this:15,30,75,120,150. At least, for the spider 3 series

  • dude, is it good for metal stuff, is it something like mesa?

  • thanks for that man, 5 stars!

  • FUCK YEAh haha man what kinda guitar u use

  • ibanez jem

  • should i get this or a marshall mg50(which is even mmore expemsive)

  • i dunno, ive never tried that...but i really like this one and this probably has tons more presets ad stuff..but the marshall may sound better? im not sure, test em both out

  • hell yeah its loud i had my friend over put it up half way and almost blew his eardrum out dude its waz funny AND LOUD!!!! but that waz only half way!! =)

  • Hey dude i ahve a question , your amp is

Line 6 Spider III 75 75W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp??

    how much it cost?

  • $300 i think, maybe only 200...it was a gift

  • thanks! dude

it is good to paly live, like in partys restaurants? or just with my firnds at talent shows? i mean it sounds enough loud?¿

  • i dunno, i haven't really done that...however it is very loud if you want it to be (mines on like 2-3 in the house)

  • i ahve a peavey of 45 watts and if i turn the volume all the way up its fkcing loud, then this should sound so loud!

  • yeah with my 50 wat marshall i turn it up to 2 and it blasts the entire house XD

  • Hell Yeah !! I can't take my behringer past 1. 300watt bass amp. lol. pretty mental on lead guitar.

  • What marshall u got, i got a AVT50 valvsestate 2000 ... had it for a while and now its making a huming sound when i turn it on :S .. i think its the valve but not sure

  • i have the same one, i got it used for about $200

  • its 300 and the pedal that controls the efects is 99

  • 285 e

  • 285 e??????? WTF?????

  • Line 6 spider III 75 watts costs only 285 euros :p

  • of well in America i had to pay 430 for my amp and the pedal that came with it.

  • Well line 6 75 w is 285 euros at thomann :D

  • lucky bastards!

  • one euro is like 2 bucks us... so not exactly lucky basterds....

  • i paid $399 for mine

  • without the pedal??

  • with the pedal

  • oh well they told me it was gonna be 430 with tax and all

  • wow.. i payed 250 from mine, 70 for the pedal

  • hey did you get mattrachs album on itunes, cuz i did and johnnys disturbed has a typo in it.... Also is this amp good for classic metallica, and dream theater?

  • im gettin this amp next week, i used it at the local music store, it was pretty sick, i jsut need one that can stand up to the sound of drums in a small basement and doesnt buzz out of feedback when i mute the strings =D

  • it wouldn't

  • what was the first song you p
