If you want your mac to chime at startup, try resetting the PRAM by holding "COMMAND" + "OPTION" + "P" + "R" keys right after you pressed the power button of your mac. Wait until it chimed three times and let go. This is also a good procedure if you have troubles booting.

iv just bought one of these only 3 days ago for $10 i only bought this for music and browsing the web, the specs of mine are
