Hello Dr paul I have a scar 2 millimeters long very short it has been treated with steriods so it is no longer raised it is flat however the line where the skin broke initial when the trauma occured still remains i have tried fillers to fill in the line but it has not worked that well is there a way i can show you pictures of it and you give me advice on what you can do for me
How soon after surgery and how often in between do you do the pulse dye laser? I just had a scar revision on a scar that's a line from the corner of the lip extending upwards and a bit towards the nose (like a fish hook). I didn't get w-plasty just a straight cut. Is that bad?
This is amazing hats off to the Dr. I have a big scar between my eyebrows and my nose which is only covered by glasses. Its roughly 14 years old can scar revision surgery still give results. I am desperate to loose the sight of this scar as it is really noticeable and I don't mind flying across the pond to get rid of it. Anyone had similar procedures???
It is very important to wear sunscreen. You may use silicon gel or sheeting, and possibly a pulse dye laser. This will ensure it heals beautifully. im 20 and im student in a pharmacy collage so its really sucks having a scar in this stage of life :(
Good result.! I'm always a bit sceptical with the before and after pictures but this seems to have a positive result.
