  • i have taken some photos with a digital fuji camera mounted on my 8 " shmidt-cass. telescope recently of saturn ,along with 2 of it's moons. the pictures would only show the planet but wouldn't the moons. i did not use any filters so is this the problem due to the planet's brightness? appreciate any suggestions. thank you!

  • @kenclicker Saturns moons are too faint so they can't be visible on the picture of Saturn.To capture the moons, you should set exposure to about 1sec and take a picture of Saturn and then combine these two photos on a computer. I hope it helps!
