  • Socialism is the answer.

  • Venice has always been a homeless magnet , nothing new

  • I have a website for people that are doing this please check it out. I just did a 6 months stint and utilized this.

    Thanks, Matt

  • I had to live in my car once for 3 days, and man was it a nightmare, I feel for them in a way,

  • People are idiots, they just give up and think they can't find another job if they get fired. They deserve to be homeless. Sure I lost my job at albertsons but guess what I found a better one after that. Now I became an aviation mechanic making lots of money and now that I have 2 years of experience I can easily go to another job that even isn't hiring. People are nothing but stupid quitters.

  • @MegaDeathwarrant who said anything about these people quitting? Don't worry friend, Karma will get you back one of these days for being an uncompassionate cock head, there is a word for folks like you... Douche bag

  • @woolridgewilly Wow are you really that retarded dude?? Haha this is the most fail comment I've ever gotten in my life. There is a word for folks like you... idiotic and stupid. I literally fell out of my chair laughing from your dumb ass.

  • @MegaDeathwarrant I didn't ask for a response you tool bag, from the sounds of it you are one of those spoiled brat types that hangs out on youtube bashing people that are having a hard time. Not everyone has parents to put a roof over their head and pay their way like your punk ass, now please stop being an arrogant punk and don't respond to this until you learn some respect for the less fortunate

  • @woolridgewilly haha you must be the most retarded person in the planet OMG THIS IS TOO FUNNY!!!

  • @MegaDeathwarrant would you mind stop being a faggot? thanks!

  • @woolridgewilly Would you mind using your head for once? You'll actually thank me later:)

  • @MegaDeathwarrant could you stop pointlessly responding to me, you obviously cannot think of a good argument for being a douche so you just send send pointless shit?

  • @woolridgewilly Pointlessly? Please dude learn to use your head. You're just only making yourself look stupid.

  • @woolridgewilly Oh btw you started this argument without paying attention to the video and what I had to say, so way to go moron.

  • @MegaDeathwarrant i seen what it said you spoiled douche, hope you feel bad when you lose YOUR job and home

  • @woolridgewilly Either you're too blind or you just don't know how to read at all. I clearly said "Sure I lost my job at albertsons but guess what I found a better one after that. Now I became an aviation mechanic making lots of money and now that I have 2 years of experience I can easily go to another job that even isn't hiring"

  • @MegaDeathwarrant just because you have a silver spoon stuck up your ass doesn't mean all the other millions of people do, your day will come. Oh and maybe you are really good at sucking a dick that maybe why you land that job but sorry not everyone is a faggot.

  • @woolridgewilly I have 2 airports near me you dumb droll and already have over 2 years of experience. There are 4 major companies where I work at. I'm not a quitter like you nor that does anything stupid to loose my job like you. Go back to school and pay attention to class instead of dropping out like an idiot.

  • @MegaDeathwarrant how nice of you to assume my education level but at any rate you're still a spoiled brat douche bag who thinks he knows all about regular people and hard times. Don't worry I'm not wishing hard times on you but maybe one day you will be down on your luck too, you have alot to learn! (please don't respond anymore)

  • @woolridgewilly I have "a lot" to learn? At least I paid attention to school and take care of my life kid. When you move out of your parents it will be a whole new game for you.

  • @MegaDeathwarrant one of these days someone will knock you on your smart ass! it's just too bad it will not be me

  • @woolridgewilly Keep dreaming kid, keep dreaming.

  • This guy is a nut if he thinks it is bad now. in the next 2 years it will be 10 times worse!

I find it strange the rich wanted nothing to do with venice beach. then it became cool to own property and say I live there. now they want to chase everyone out that makes there view look bad. how nice.

  • So when these 'people' who don't like the view of RV's get a job loss or screwed by the government they may also end up living this way. At least the stupid ones live in the expensive house working all the hours going to pay for a building they spend most of the time sleeping in or away from to pay for it!!

  • i was going to say it would probably get worse...but someone already mentioned this. They make a 2 class system and then complain when the poor class try to get by. Grapes of Wrath part 2. Obama has probs but the others aren't that much better.

  • Comment removed

  • wnere going to get more homeless in the uk very soon...

  • Thanks Obama!

  • This report was over two years ago and things have actually gotten worse. I hope the people that voted for Obama realize that their idealistic little hopie-changie fantasy world was never realistic. Stupid socialists.

  • @outbackeddie

    aggressive capitalism caused all this.

  • I wish I hade an RV while I was homeless

  • As another person said: "I'd rather live in an RV than an Apartment" I totally agree! Thanks to apartments, I will probably be living in an RV! They rip people off, and a lot of "neighbors" are just ridiculous!

One thing I do find ridiculous: If you are going to live like this, then why pay the high cost of living in Southern California? Not to mention the safety issues and the population density. I'm going to the boonies!

  • this makes me laugh. If their rv is their 'home' how are these people 'homeless'? just because they don't own a House/submit to crippling debt to live in a House, doesn't mean they have no Home. This is a Choice for many people, who want to extract themselves from a prescriptive society!

  • Any one who has a 6 figured income should had saved enough money to live off on, compared to a person who was working for minimum wage and I do not feel sorry for anyone not willing to accept a minimum wage job. If no one wants to settle for less money, then the government needs to stop the unemployment benefits to make every one sitting on their ass and get a minimum wage job! I had to do it!

  • @patsaxon The man who was making a 6 figure income said that he "eventually ran out of money" and he "couldn't keep up with the mortgage." Don't judge these people, most of them are searching for any job they can get- there simply aren't enough jobs for everyone. Unemp benefits are abused, but it helps people who really search for but can't find a job. Until you have been in a situation like theirs and end up homeless, don't pass judgement on those who try to make it any way they can.

  • If i didn't live in NYC i would invest in an RV

  • i do this with a minny van one summer and just get a jim membership that has places all over town just for showering personal stuff have small laptop with cell net stick jim member ship 50 internet 30 bucks its cheep

  • I hope every snotty fuck in California that has a problem with people parking their RV's in front of their PRECIOUS neighborhoods LOSES EVERYTHING THEY HAVE..

  • Oh, people need to stop getting their panties in a wad about things looking so perfect. So what if someones home is one wheels. Give me a break.

  • @sc00b3rt i dont give a fuck about a house double wide or a home on wheels is the way to go cause when a economical disaster comes WE CAN ROLL OUT THIS BITCH! home on wheels way to go

  • am about to do this beats these high rents takin' alll my loot plus am single and a adventurer

  • What good is a 12-hour permit for a 24-hour day? Where do you go when your 12-hours are up? How can the state charge registration fees to allow you to use the public roads (CA's are some of the highest in the country!) then say you can't be on a public road? We need a little understanding and compassion for these people!

  • I wouldn't mind living in a small car only gas prices would be kinda high and if i get into a wreck im screwed...

  • im movin to cali.

  • this is urban survival!!!!!!

  • whats wrong with having Rvs on the street. They have to live somewhere.

  • I have a plan, Hawaii cull's 1000's of pounds of invasive species...wild goats, pigs, cattle, sheep.... shoot them and let them rot. Find me a way to get that pure natural meat to the homeless and I will feed 1000's, GOD made me a awsome hunter for a reason........... so to all you filthy rich, who dont wanna get yer hands dirty but wanna help the needy.... here's yer chance to give back & actually help someone.

  • So for the excuse of "safe" they limit the rv to a few bad parking lots by permit. sounds like a way for the progressives to keep the less fortunate out of site and in thier place. i could park my RV anywhere and be safe, I dont need no stinkin permit in the USA

  • Living in an rv does not = homeless. Why is it only considered ok when your retired?I live in an RV in California where rent is $1000 a month and up.That adds up fast and when you move, you leave with nothing.

  • I'd rather live in an RV than an apartment.

  • I feel we can bail out everyone else why can these people get back there money.

I live in a rv and trust me its fine cheep and I do not think I will ever own a house again I pay no real estate taxes that is a big deal for me 2500.00 and I really do not need all the stuff I had this has everything I need and I go to work come home Just like I did before thank God I have a job.

  • The city won't buy land and let people live on it poor, they used to do that at the campgrounds and they raised up the price in the late 80's from $2.00 a night to $20.00 and now it's more like $30.00 and they cut off the stay down to a few nights and you have to move out. If they see you have a motor home, no shelter, you are considered well off. If they see you on the streets you usually are dirty and fat from bread and on liquor or drugs to deal with it and they use that against you quickly.

  • I'd rather see the homeless in an RV than in a tarp tent. People lose their jobs and once the moneys gone, their homes usually go with it pretty quick. Most people are usually just a month or so from homelessness. Overnight parking sounds good but where do they park during the daytime? Here's a plan, have the city buy some land and turn it into a special RV park. Charge very low rent, just enough to cover costs of operating. Let the homeless who have RVs park there if they can.

  • @yesiamanalien You are very wise!

You can buy a beautiful RV for as little as $5000 and they could spend $3000 more for a well an electrical installation. The govt has Millions upon millions of acres of BLM land already and if we built RV parks across the nation, we could house EVERY SINGLE homeless person inside of 1 year.

Then we could here the recent homeless to mange the maintenance through training. This would be the absolute least expensive way to house the homeless.

  • @yesiamanalien Hahaha sounds like Hoovervilles during the great depression, not a good idea. The city paying for homeless people's land where crime and drug abuse is rampant? Don't think so.

  • @C1Era It is our duty as human beings to do what we can to help those less fortunate. Sometimes all some homeless people need is a safe play to sleep and get cleaned up so they can go look for work. Spread over the inhabitants of a city, a small parcel of land is pennies for each person. If you can afford a cup of coffee, you can afford to help. Drugs and crime rampant? I doubt it. Alcohol seems the drug of choice and it's mostly used to help deal with the shitty life on the streets.

  • @yesiamanalien Yes, they have homeless shelters for people. If you don't know what a hooverville is look it up, it will give you some insight on this issue. If you give a bunch of homeless people free land i guarantee issues will arise.

  • @C1Era My original comment said "Charge very low rent, just enough to cover costs of operating". It isn't a free ride, its an affordable place for people to stay till they can afford better. As for homeless shelters, have you been to one? They are generally quite dirty, unsafe and very restricted. Many have to turn people away. The local one here wont let you in till 5pm and not back out till 8am. That makes it impossible to have a job.

  • well wat would u do if u lost ur home an had no money for to get another or even pay rent but u had a camper would u sleep on the streets or live in a camper i bet u would live in a camper

  • Give the homeless a break.
