  • @flutiexxx you mad bro?

  • i have one and what i wanted to do was somehow stitch it with the name of my dance crew and fold it in a triangle and drape it on my head but i feel it would be disrespectful because im not arabic or muslim can i still wear it like that

  • i have just bought two of these beautiful artworks.

i will wear them when i attend pro Palestinian rallies to show that a white atheist Australian can show solidarity and empathy for a people who have suffered under one of the worst oppressions of modern history.

i remember the nakba and i see your keys.

  • I'm an American, and while I have nothing against Palestinians or Jews,I can respect the Palestinian struggle, but that's not my reason for wearing mine,I wear it as a scarf around my neck because it's my right and because I simply just can. Some Israelis where them as well as US and allied coalition forces out in regions like the mid-east for the same practical reasons as other natives of that region. It helps keep the sun and sand out of your face.Just don't conceal your face in a public business.

  • How dumb could you possibly be to think that it has something to do with terrorism? I love the Keffiyeh, I think it's beauitful but I am Indian and not Arab so I am afraid to wear it in public. Well, I've decided that I'll wear it whenever something good happens in the Arab world, so that I have an excuse.

  • There asociatid to terrorism cause there seen wearing these just like the rpg and ak47 ps right wing dont care i wear a fucken shemagh and no one cares i might get a funny look but how often do you see one?

  • Lol right wings can be so funny special forces, wear these things for christs sake so I suppose they support terrorist lol jk

  • All you white liberal cunts who want to wear this disgusting rag around your neck, ask yourself why the hell you'd want to associate yourself with these arab muslims who beat and kill their women and still live in the dark ages. You progressives out there. You want your progression, so why do you want to be like the most regressive savages on the planet?

  • Im buying one, I think they are stylish

  • i have 20 of them in all colors. i love them. all my friends wear them too. i've only gotten positive reactions from people, even on airplanes, lol. they've become a symbol of rebellion and also of solidarity.

  • You just confirmed the wearing of this scarf is, in fact, worn for political reasons "Europeans in solidarity with Palestinians under oppression and colonial rule" and not simply just Arab fashion - thus validate the pulling of this scarf from a Dunkin Donuts ad by, as you put it: "Zionists." You try and say it's "just" a scarf then go on to say it's about political "solidarity!" You are contrary to your own argument. However I dont think people care and just wear it cause its trendy now.

  • People associating these things with terrorism obviously have no idea about other cultures and those complaining about it being lies don't know how to research. I see a lot of general Arab hate these days. You would think people would learn from the past and what happens when you demonise a group. Take the 3rd Reich for example. That turned out horribly wrong...

  • Like yourself, we Jews often feel oppressed, too. And, we are enjoying the resurgent of the keffiyeh as symbol of Jewish solidarity. Hopefully, we can each learn to respect the diversity of our neighbors.

  • That scarf is in vogue because the west is ADDICTED to arab oil. If we weren't addicted to arab oil, they would be outlawed as signs of violent Islam

  • I would like to see that scarf burned. There are no 'palestinians' what a completely made up bullshit identity. It represents hate and terrorism, much like the swatstika

  • @Musicofthissphere Your statement is frankly insane. First, to say that the Keffiyeh, worn by various populations of arabic and jewish decent for a long time, worn in the region for primarily practical reasons (try to think of a better way to simultaneously protect the head from sun, wind and sand) is nothing but a symbol of hate is absurd. Second, to describe an identity that many have embraced for eons as "completely made up bullshit" is a much stronger message of hate than any clothing item.

  • Mazin, ALLAH MA'AK!!!! And Mr. Heller, may you be blessed as well! Thank you! A million kisses, hugs and blessings to all of you! :)

  • my shemagh is green and tan with little skulls on it .. it's a statement all right but not of solidarity with the Palestinians, more the opposite......

  • FREE PALESTINE!

  • UGHHH im saddened to hear than kanye wears them, i cant fucking stand kanye. well im a buddhist american and i wear one. but long before kanye picked it up because i live by a ton of arabs from all countries and its COLD where i live.

  • I have one of the green and black ones that US forces wear now. I wear it because it protects from the sun and wind, and even dust when worn properly, and it just looks damn cool. It's also a good symbol of resistance against oppression.

  • I wear mine because they look good on people in the sandbox killing terrorists, surely not out of solidarity with the Palestinian people.

  • @excurrahee

    thumbs up

  • i just bought one today and it is made in Palistine. i'm canadian btw woo!

  • Buying three soon. I intend to buy a traditional white and black one to express solidarity with the Palestinians against foreign imperialism and oppression, a red and black one to express solidarity with the working class of the world (as an Anarcho-syndicalist) and a tan and black one, as it fits best with the terrain I currently play airsoft in.

  • @Marcownz747

I have two. a Red one from Bahrain, because it was hot outside, so I bought it for 2 dollars. That's the only one I bought. I have a black/white one given to me as a gift from a Somali friend when I was stationed in Africa....

You know what I don't do? Buy piece of shit scarfs from wherever to make myself look like a douche in college. to show "solidarity"...and let me put it this way. Your a douchebag. No one wears this fucking things to "show solidarity"

  • @Rao665 Since fighting off the British, the Palestinian people have used it as a national symbol, and since the Israeli occupation, Palestinians and sympathisers have worn it as a symbol of hope for the palestinian occupation to end, and solidarity with those suffering through it. Yes, it is also a mere scarf to the rest of the arab world, but to Palestine, it is the equivalent of the Palestinian Flag (which has been made illegal to fly by Israeli forces occupying the nation).

  • I wear mine daily.

  • wow why dont we all just quit fighting about race religion and for god sakes a piece of fucking cloth. i have a way better idea lets just pack the ol' ROOR and toke one.

  • you wear a scarf to keep warm.

not to just wear a scarf,to make a fashion statement.

    thats pretty gay.

  • @gibsongold1970 People wear boots as a fashion statement when sneekers would be more comfortable. People wear different belts as a fashion statement, when a simple $10 walmart belt would suffice. People wear mittens as a fashion statement, when the free-moving fingers of gloves are more practical. People wear ball-caps as a fashion statement, when there is no sun to hurt their eyes, or when sunglasses would be better to use.

Critique ALL fashion statements on practicality, or stfu.

  • Terrorism - the calculated use of violence (or the threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear

The US have invaded 54 foreign countries since 1945. They are the only country to have dropped a nuclear bomb on PEOPLE (TWO bombs).

AND THEY HAVE THE CHEEK TO CALL A FEW ASIAN MEN ON A MOUNTAIN TERRORISTS FOR DEFENDING THEIR LAND?

    YOU BRAINWASHED RETARDS.

  • When the whole reason we are currently in Iraq is to help the people there, discrimination against middle easterners is the most unpatriotic act you can do. And it's a slap to everything the troops are fighting for.

  • I'm going to buy one and just tell everyone that I support terrorism.

  • @colomblanco You support terrorism by supporting American policy in the Middle East, especially America's blind support for israel. So congratulations, you're already a terrorist and you didn't even know it.

  • @DarkReapersGrim Nice try, but that's some pretty flawed logic buddy.

  • terrorists for life fuck america AL JIHAN

  • hey,how long is a typical keffiyeh?Not a shemagh,a keffiyeh.I heard somewhere it was 48" inches?

  • @nicantlacaroots 40x40 is big enough. I have a few, and I have a pretty large head.

  • where can i get one ? please anyone respond

  • @13tharealest just type in keffiyeh on google.

  • @13tharealest

Go On eBay,(Make an account if you want to buy it) and search for it. I got mine off there for $3 (New Condition)

  • @13tharealest try to buy one that is actually made in Palestine. You can find them on google.

  • I ordered one from the herbawi factory,in palestine,like two or three months ago.Did I get tricked?Duped?Swaggled?

  • i have one, bought one when i went to mecca

  • Kanye West wears one, So do I. I'm Christian and its only a cloth.

  • i ve got like 5 or 6 from those and i wear one every day just because its practical

  • Someone call the waaaaambulance. crybabies. Zero tolerance is shown towards anyone who is not a muslim in Gaza and elsewhere within the Palestinian Authority.

  • It's ok to wear a scarf but if it covers your face don't call people racist because they pwned you

  • my parents wont even let me wear one when I airsoft... AIRSOFT!!!!! they are being stereotypes and think that this headdress will get people into thinking that I'm a terrorist, total BS

  • U iidiot this is not because of modesty its to keep dust sand storm u stupid retarded man! We are modern we don't wear it for modesty!

  • I own about 7 of these... they are beautiful...

  • What does he mean by "Palestinian People?" Does he mean Arabs? Because until 1948 everyone living in Israel/Palestine area where referred to as Palestinians.

  • @613iceman They are still considered Palestinian.

    something cultural.

  • @DustinTheGoth But Jews also used to be considered Palestinian, so how is it cultural?

  • No corporation or person should let themselves be bullied by the same neocons that claim "political correctness" is an infringement on their freedom of speech. It's hypocrisy to ban a culture, in truth they are bigoted against what they don't even understand.

And what is different between insh'a allah, allahu akbar, and "God willing, god is great" that you hear from christians? None, I respect their beliefs as long as they don't seek tyranny like extremists or the pope.

  • Well if you dont run around like an idiot saying allah akbar allah akbar and dont talk badly about jews I dont have a problem

  • @klera2

The keffiyeh has absolutely nothing to do with Islam. Its purpose is to protect you from sand and the hot middle eastern sun.

  • well great - don' wear it because you want to show solidarity with the terrorists, wear it because of political reasons. I have some too, they are really warm in winter, but this is a rediculous advice...

  • i wear one, just to piss off the republicunt lapdogs and their jew masters

  • i like the arab culture but i am getting sick of the fucking arabs caldieans coming here and thinking theyre better than everybody else cause daddy bought them a 7-11 seriously what the fuck is ur deal dude and what you need your cousins to fight with you cause you cant fight for yourself seriously chill the fuck out stop being pricks

  • Shut the fuck up...

  • you shut the fuck or better yet come make me and its ok to bring your cousins for help cause we all you know you couldnt kick my ass by yourself

  • @scapegoat666 Well, honestly I can't make you "shut up" because we are just typing. Another thing is that why do you keep talking about cousins? Are you trying to affend me? If so your doing a terrible job. Also if you think you can kick my ass I doubt it. Your just another American, brainwashed, retard who thinks he is tough. Weak little spoiled brat American kids...

  • @IKICKYOUINTHANUTS offend*

  • Fatwah? What organization is that? I've never heard of that before. And Fatah is not recognized as a terrorist faction by the United States or Israel, so who are you to say they are a terrorist group?

  • True Dat, the Irgun, and Etzel renounced violence and one day the Fatah might too. And then we can all ive in peace. Article 12 of the official Fatah constitution is the "complete liberation of Palestine, and eradication of Zionist economic, political, military and cultural existence." This sucks because I really like my culture. We have good music, entertainment, sports. Why can't we Jews just have a country to ourselves? You palestinians can have one too, call it Jordan.

  • Good comment. Only Fatah has already renounced violence. It is Hamas who is holed up in Gaza that still uses violence to its own detriment. I agree that we both deserve to exist there, and a two state solution is probably the best case scenario. The only issue is that both sides are going to have to make sacrifices if they want a two state solution to succeed. And Jerusalem must be under international control.

  • You do it is called Israel...

  • really so when the us forces wear them their promoting terrorism

  • I got mine a couple of years ago, after I nabbed it from a fuker in Bethlehem, I was visiting at the time that the Israelis were having it out with some Palestinians who were holding out in the Church of the Nativity. After I was finished beating it off his head, I told him next time I hear that anybody desecrates a Christian holy shrine because of their politics, Im come back and take his nargilah, thats what we call a classy tobbaco bong back here and shove it up his ass and smoke it that way

  • I think that was very well put, and gave me a more understanding of it and in support I have purchased my keffiyeh on amazon

  • I will be purchasing one for the upcoming Winter Solstice Holiday. I will not be purchasing one as a "Fashion Statement" but, just as another way to show my solidarity to the oppressed and terrorized Palestinian people. Being Gay and Atheist and living in America, I know what discrimination and legal marginalization feels like. I did not live the mainstream Christian way and for that, I was punished by the male-dominated legal system here in the USA. Equality for all classes. Primacy in none.

  • english ppl try hard to be like muslim you know thy only wearin it for fasion if thy tryn copy islam y cnt thy wear everyhng not only ths none english just wnt fasion out of it so stupid honestly everywere u go they hve it ths is muslim dress end of the ppl who wear it shd wear as a suportment for islam not for fashion

  • I don't see a problem with the US troops wearing it, either. Keeps the sand out of their eyes while they're killing muslim terrorists. Works for me.

  • I proudly own one, and I waged my own battle agaisnt racism in my College... my History teacher expelled me from his class the whole semester cause I wore one...

I exposed the case to the student board and the head master, now the teacher got removed and I got installed in a different class...

  • @0MrSiegel0

i feel happy for you ^_^

  • @pakeyboy Thanks dude =D!

  • @0MrSiegel0

    wow....you lose.

  • @0MrSiegel0 WOW! Good for you...what an amazing story!

  • @0MrSiegel0 Hahaha, you can't be racist against a fuckin scarf bro.

  • Israel always looks for an opportunity to act like a pestilent child in the world and complain about anti semitism and act victized. There are Jews that wear it too. US army and British army wear it too and it looks kool, I say Israel should mind their own business, they cant tell people what they can and can't wear grow up.

  • Well, they can tell people where they can and can't live and get away with it. So, can you really blame them for trying to go one step further and dictate American's dress code?

  • No, the keffiyeh is not exclusively Palestianian. I understand that it is worn by many other peoples. What I can't understand is why you are so offended by the prospect of people wearing this scarf as a show of solidarity.

That's like bashing cancer research facilities for using the pink ribbon as part of their campaign to combat breast cancer. If anyone needs to grow up, it is certainly you.

  • thanks for explaining, but i am wondering, has it do anything at all with socialism? Cause here in Norway the Communist and Socialist party, sell these scarfs. And I am a liberalist, should i wear a such scaf, as long as i support the Palestinians?

  • Of course. Anyone, regardless of political affiliation, who supports the Palestinian cause may choose to wear this scarf.

    Compassion has no boundries.

  • It isn't a direct connection with Socialism. I, myself, am a Communist here in the USA. Most (if not all or 99.9%) of the Socialist/Communist organizations here support Palestine. This is because Communism is built around the struggle of oppressed peoples in the wake of majority fascism (specifically Corpo-Fascism.) Israel is a terrorist bully state much like the United States. They invade and try to dictate other countries domestic policy. In this, many Socialist/Communist orgs. are involved.

  • How exactly is Israel a terrorist bully state?

  • Read the news.

  • You want to tell me about it or just go on looking like a fool? I can't make an argument if you don't make a point.

  • "I can't make an argument if you don't make a point."

I had to comment on this. That sentence is just wonderful. It says so much unintentionally. I feel like I learned something new and exciting. I don't know if you'll understand, but if you do you'll know why I want nothing more than to hug you.

    Peace, love and understanding.

  • Bobby : You still haven't said a thing... you told me to read the news, and stated your opinion as fact while I tried to prove something. For the sake of not desecrating what is a beautiful art (arguing), please make a point and let me retort. Thanks.

  • "please make a point and let me retort."

Clearly you still don't get it. While you're waiting to understand go through some Plato, Lao Tzu, Pirsig, Nietzsche with a little Vedic / Bible for some nice flourishes. Remember to breathe deeply, drink plenty or of water and never under estimate the value of proper sleep.

    Peace, love and understanding.

  • I'm not waiting to understand, I'm waiting for you to respond to my argument, and it's getting really annoying. You hide your ignorance by posting highbrow comments about nothing or general randomness. I don't want to read those authors or get lifestyle advice, I want some facts / actual points from YOU. Yes, YOU. Not the Bible, not TV, not newspapers, YOU. How can you not get this simple fact through your skull? It's not that hard.

  • "I'm not waiting to understand."

    Obviously.

    Peace, love and understanding.

  • Now you're fucking ridiculous, nothing else. Lifting words out of context, trying to sound very wise while still saying nothing. I'm not the one living in ignorance, you should really see that... I've stated my point, tried to invoke reasoning from you, and you failed to even try. Do you even know what you're doing anymore?

I asked you to say something, you failed, yet I'm the "almost" total waste? Are you kidding me? SAY A FUCKING THING, I'LL REPLY TO IT.

  • Of course I'm ridiculous. We all live in ignorance - myself, yourself and everyone you will ever know. This is nothing to be upset about.

The reason that I don't try to "reason" with you is that I can tell that you wish to argue. I find that boring and uninteresting. I was just having a bit of fun. Incidentally, I've said alot worth replying to. That you have "failed" to do so is of little surprise.

I really do wish you well.

    Peace.

  • You are right, I wish to argue. That is completely normal between two human beings. It can be done civilised, and I am one to do it in such a way, but I understand if you don't want to participate. The "I've said a lot worth replying to" part is laughable, I'm sorry to say. You've said nothing except wishing peace and understanding for everyone. That's not worth replying to. On the other hand, I made a point, tried to converse with you, so I'm pretty sure I'm not the one who failed between us.

  • "Peace and understanding are not worth replying to."

You have said much about yourself without intending to. You do not see yourself. If you don't see yourself how can you see the world?

Fail? No. Neither of us has failed. I just find the idea of argument boring. I think it'd be a waste of time. I doubt either you or I would get much out of it. So why waste your time and my time?

    Peace be upon you.

  • Twisting my words out of context once again. Wow, you are really good at it, man... I've just realized that you're nothing but a troll, so I'm going to stop right here. Thanks for your time.

  • The "... is of little surprise" part is derogatory, and I find it highly offensive from someone who failed to make a stand in a question he/she apparently knows a lot about. Once you've done something impressive for the world, something a person worth looking up to would, you're allowed to talk down to me. Until then, you're not. I highly doubt that you've done anything for world peace, against world famine or anything else on such a scale. I have.

  • he needs to read SOMETHING.... it's sad people really have no clue about the injustice that goes on over there, meanwhile the berlin wall incited outrage..

  • He will probably remain in ignorance, which is unfortunate, however - on the brighter side - his actions and mentality might be, if examined, used as a platform for understanding how people act and think. He's a not a total waste. He's kind of like a specimin or something. That sounds more fucked up than I intend, but it's true.

He won't get what I'm saying in his current mindset. He needs to grow first. I wish him luck. You should too. There many like him.

    Peace and understanding.

  • If you honestly think that I'm the failure from the two of us, I have nothing for you but pity.

"He won't get what I'm saying in his current mindset."

Please tell me what you're saying. That's what I've asked from you in my last 3 posts. I'm not the one who needs to grow, you need to learn what arguing means, and stop bullshiting around saying absolutely nothing. I can go on and post random stuff like

"Live long and in harmony" - does that make me sound wise? That's all you've done so far.

  • They stole land from the Palestinians violating Geneva Conversion laws. Then they build a frickin' wall like the Berlin wall but 10X higher around these areas separating families and loved ones for the sake of what they call security.

  • Please explain how getting land in a treaty is stealing it from someone else! Also, would you mind telling me who the land originally belonged to? Let me think for a second... hmm, I got it - the Jews. Yes, that's right.

  • we have to support palestine, they are direct BLATANT victims of imperialism, and nobody cares... but WE care...because wrong is wrong, and a tragedy anywhere is still a tragedy

  • Do not mistake oppressed peoples. It is the hope of Communists to remove the vehicle of oppression (economic wage-slavery.) If, by oppressed people, I mean a group who is unable to remove Civil Rights from another group, they would not be covered. (IE: Conservative Christians and their 'right' to make Christianity the supreme rule of law, a Christian version of Sharia Law. Making that illegal would not be oppressing Christians. Rather, it would be equalizing society and in line with Communism.

  • ILERIN MALCH! Forward march comrade! We cant

  • ok, dumb-asses, the shemagh is worn as a symbol of palestinian nationalism, and has been since the 1970s or before. as it turns out, the shemagh also was worn by other people, but the uses has evolved to the point that it is a Palestinian symbol. I bet that people used to make white robes before the Klan got ahold of the idea. ideas involve, get used to it.

  • not just palestinians wear it. but nice try in attempting to make JUST a symbol for palestinian Solidarity. I got news for you, Jews, Christians, Muslims, and Military (U.S., Britain, ect) use them all over the middle east. Thats like trying to say wearing jeans is a sign of solidarity for your cause. Grow up.

  • I just ordered one, Our own troops wear them for crying out loud. I will make certain to wear mine to Dunkin on a regular basis......

  • U..S. troops wear them too. I am going to get one and wear it to dunkin every chance I get. Heck, I might stop in just to ask them what time it is..... People need to take a breath. I know plenty of Arabs who are as far removed from the Jihadi mindset as you can imagine. When I was a cab driver in Atlantic City years ago, the Arab and Israeli drivers got along very well, and watched each other's backs. Even the palestinian drivers. Remove folks from politics, and most can be cool.

  • wow thats a bunch of bullshit and its dicsrimination...

  • i'm wareing one now whilst playing call of duty 4...don't ask i'm a dick

  • I just got mine and you wont BELIEAVE how comfortable it is. i live in dubai where the heat is unbearable but it actualy keeps you cool during the summer.

    looks great too

  • Down here in Georgia, when it gets hot, I'll put a couple keffiyehs in a cooler with some ice and water, and when I'm outside working out/playing airsoft/paintball, or hiking, it really keeps you cool.

  • Neo-con zionists? Why did you even go there?

I stopped supporting Dunkin' Donuts because I don't like racism and I think there's nothing wrong with Middle Easterners per se.

  • Where can i buy one ? I live in germany.

  • Ebay. Got one just now for 6$ from Hong Kong.

    Goodluck!

  • Thanks for the tip mate , I actually got one today and is an original made in palestine and sold to me by a palestinian wich I compared to one made in China and all I can tell you is that there is nothing like the real thing. Thanks anyways for the tip and good luck.

  • Thank you for shedding a little more light on the subject and informing all those who have numerous misconseptions on the subject. I recently purchased a Keffiyeh and I'm doing it as more of a political statement as a sign of solidarity towards the current Palestinian struggle instead of purely as a fashion statement. Oh, and I'm NOT ARAB by the way, I just feel that people of all different cultures should try to be a little more knowledgable towards different cultures and their struggles!

  • dats nice styl where u from

  • fo´shizzle mah nizzle..... imma wear mah kuffi-yay! but in a very gangsta way aweeee!!!!!

  • Shukran Jazeelan for clearing this up for people who didn't know any better.

  • my question is, should we really accept people wearing it when they have no fucking clue what it means? i get upset when i walk by someone wearing a keffiyeh, or even worse nowadays, a Che Guevara shirt, and you ask "so, you're a Che Guevara follower?" and they say to you "who?" i feel like telling them to hand me their shirt because they don't deserve it. i swear, it makes me feel like wearing a shirt with a swastika on it (not a Hindu one either) and when someone looks at me crazy i'll say...

  • ..."it's just a fashion statement." LMAO!

  • I'm not muslim, i'm an agnostic irish-american, and i wear my keffiyeh almost every day

  • all muslim men of any nation should wear this

  • i wear the keffiyeh and i love mine!

  • i wear one around my neck, i kinda like it, im from beglium btw

  • It would be nice to see arabs stand up against the violence extremists are doing to their own people. Bombings, spreading terror. Instead they make a fuss over a commercial. There might be a bigger reason why some people don't see this as just a cultural piece of clothing.

  • @dmskier

i hate it when westerners stick their noses and tell us what we should and shouldnt do,especialy from the people who consider us their #1 enemy...if you dont like some1 then just dont deal with him, otherwise if you want to boost your oil economy then dont talk about what is fair, right and wrong, just let this war (islam vs christianity) continue and shut up,thats the world history logic.

and btw it is an important cultural peice of clothing for us,weather you like it or not.

  • What is idiotic is that Jews in Israel wear similar scarf as well. Americans are stupid.

  • jews dont wear the same scarf idiot, you stole my land, dont steal my culture!

  • I said similar IDIOT! No wonder your people live like animals. They are idiots with little brains like you dumbass!

  • Ignorant statements like that make you an idiot.

  • We are using them for playing airsoft to cover our head and face for protection.

  • This ignorance is due to mass media agendas that the general public ( the sheep that they are ) will believe blindly because it is easier than educating yourself. Thank you for posting this that the ignorant may learn!

  • i can't believe some people get upset about seeing a keffiyeh!

    you have my support!

  • stupid people complaining about the keffiyeh

  • I will buy a Keffiyeh. I have a scarf that resembles a Keffiyeh but i will just get the original.

Freedom to the palestianian people and God bless them and help them with their strugle.

    From a christian in Europe.

  • i will support even if your a christian

  • I swear this world makes no sense to me sometimes, why would anyone say that by wearing a keffiyeh you are promoting terrorism wtf? I'm going to buy one tomorrow!

  • @JoeOnTheRoad

    Allahu Akbar

I wear a very beautiful Keffiyeh , its black with gold lines, i wear it everywhere

  • @JoeOnTheRoad i just bought one and i am proud of it

  • I wear one to display solidarity with the Kurds. Palestinians aren't as oppressed as the kurds anyway.

  • Its worn by people who lived in the desert and not just by "all arab people".

  • like who else wear it other than arabs(and am not talking about nowdays fashion)?what you want to steal our calture now because you found it nice and cool.ha jews stole our lands and now they are stealing our calture.

  • its a desert garb... it has nothign to do with nationality... and if you bring it to europe as a political symbol, it will become a trendy scarf... =) I like it that way anyways...

  • coming from someone who have no heritage or calture and have no idea what about the world i can only say your either a leir or ignorant. the Keffiyeh is an ARABIC tradition......period.

  • well I have enough culture and heritage to now how to spell these words... But if you are going to make this a contest, while your people were running around the desert my people had a divine moral code to live by... and hundreds of years later you know but a speck of what it means to be a human being... and when my people were developing this divine moral code, they lived in the medeteranian, the harsh conditions of which required them to wear the damn keffiyeh....

  • you say we are not human beings?thats show the education and and the way your parents raised you.....Haven't your parents told you when they were treated like dogs in europe, when shopkeepers used to put signs witch says"No Jews,No Dogs"....so know your history before you start throwing dirt at others.

"the harsh conditions of which required them to wear the damn keffiyeh"

what you quote and arabic guy by saying this?also the keffiyeh is an arabic word so you fail again.

  • I never said you weren't a human being and I didn't throw any dirt your way. I am saying that the people who you accused of theft gave you the moral code you live by. And dispite having it handed to you, you use very little of that knowledge. And as far as being treated like animals, yes my people were and still are persecuted but we will never be reduced to the conduct of those who persecute us. Its not how you are treated, its how you act that defines your humanity.

  • oh and yea I know the keffiyah is an arabic word. and palestine is a latin word... =)

  • and it has nothing to with me finding it nice and cool.. It is a political statement. And because its a politcal statement and because in this context it it stands for murder and carnage, I enjoy seing reduced to a corporate money-making trend.. And if we are lucky, produced and sold at a profit by zionist CEO's who donate money to Israel.... =) And that's how I feel about the keffiyah.. Now that I am on the subject, I will go get myself one... Blue and white seems like a good colour combo

  • Shit i got mines str8 from Jordan

  • Great video! thanks

  • rag heads

  • The military uses Shemaghs - does the military promote terrorism?

  • there's two schools of thought with that question - they do aggrovate (wrong word) alot of people

and no their not meant to :)

  • I sports my keffiyeh, so fuck what ignorant people have to say. it's a scarf for christ sake.LMAO

  • There should be nothing wrong with wearing a Keffiyeh.

I have one and wear it as a solidarity with the Palestinian people. I also wear a Kroma, which is a smaller version from Cambodia. They are extremely comfortable.

    Free Palestine.

    Stop Israeli terrorism!!

  • A true terrorist would wear the flag of the Zionist regime.

  • Tell me about it, i like the keffiyeh cause it's comfortable, and it's really warm in the winter. A couple of weeks ago i was in the mall wearing one and some ignorant idiot yelled at me and said: "TERRORIST F***". I just rolled my eyes and laughed, another women said i was "Anti-Semitic", when in reality i'm actually Mixed-Jewish. Wake up people, it's just a SCARF!, ok? just a scarf!.

  • Just like a KKK hood is just a sheet.

  • whatever
